"Kenshin! Kenshin??!" I yell.
I've looked all over the school. He's not here. What happened to him? I didn't really believe the demon inside Kenshin but now I do. I've seen the fire with my own eyes. I've seen the burning. I saw his power. I don't believe it. He's dead? It doesn't make any sense.
I turn. Megumi comes in.
"Have you found him?" I ask frantically.
"No... sorry. I still can't believe what the Hellhound told us." She says.
"I don't believe it. It doesn't make sense." I say.
"Nothing about them makes sense." The man walks over to me.
I glare at him.
"Why is he doing this?" Megumi asks.
"He doesn't have a choice. A Hellhounds sole purpose is to drag souls to Hell and cause so much destruction." He says.
My eyes go wide.
"Now it makes sense." The man mutters.
"What? What does?" I ask.
"You ever wondered why he became a kill sword? He was being controlled by the Devil himself." He says.
"No! You're wrong!" I yell.
"I'm not wrong. Hellhounds are monsters." He says.
"Kenshin is not!" I yell.
"Maybe... tell that to the beast inside of him." He says.
My breath falters. My hands shake. He is no longer a murder. He's not a monster. I know him. I like, like, him. I grip my hands.
"Enishi, Megumi, we have to find him." I say.
"Never approach a Hellhound without some senseful backup." The man walks over.
