💞⏰ Rainy Day

It's a rainy day in October as Rui sits just outside of school on a bench. He doesn't have an umbrella, and not even a coat - he's just sitting in the rain. He seems to find it strangely relaxing despite his lack of coverage from the rainwater.

Tsukasa passes by with an umbrella, planning to head home from school with Rui. He notices him sitting idly in the rain, and worries for him a bit. Is he seriously sitting out in the rain without protecting himself from it?! Tsukasa rushes to Rui's side, and questions him.

"Rui, what on Earth are you doing sitting out here without an umbrella or a coat?! What if you become cold?!" Tsukasa crosses his arms, looking at Rui with a concerned expression.

"Hmm? Ah, Tsukasa-kun! I'm just sitting out here since it's rather relaxing to sit in the rain, hehe. Care to join me?" Rui extends his hand to Tsukasa, seeming completely nonchalant about the fact that he is likely freezing cold right now. Rui's only real source of warmth is his school cardigan right now.

With a sigh, Tsukasa grabs Rui's hand and pulls him up off of the bench and along with him.

"No! Rui, you're soaking! I need to take you somewhere warm right now..." Tsukasa wraps his arm around his partner's shoulders to keep him close, both in hopes of sharing some body warmth with him as well as making sure he doesn't go out into the rain again.

"Ah-" With a surprised and slightly dumbstruck expression, Rui allows himself to be pulled along with Tsukasa, seeing as he doesn't seem to want Rui out in the rain any longer. He chuckles quietly to himself, blushing ever so slightly at Tsukasa's arm around his shoulders.

"Well, alright then... Hehe." Rui wraps his arm around Tsukasa's waist to return the embrace, which causes the latter to also flush slightly. Rui still seems to be quite nonchalant about how soaked he is, although Tsukasa can feel that he is quite cold after sitting in the rain for about 10 minutes with no coat or umbrella.

The couple continue their way through the rain, shielded by the umbrella carried by Tsukasa. After taking some time to gather the composure and confidence needed to do so, Tsukasa leans his head against Rui's shoulder. He chuckles softly, still hugging his partner's shoulders.

"You're so cute, Tsukasa-kun... You know that?"

"I don't know how I wouldn't by now, considering you call me cute every 5 minutes..." Tsukasa retorts light-heartedly. It is a bit of an over-exaggeration. 

Tsukasa's eyebrows furrow in concern as he stands upright again when he notices Rui leaning a bit closer as he seems to shiver. He rubs his hand along his soaked partner's arm, and sighs.

"See? This is why you shouldn't sit in the rain without at least a coat..." He speaks as if he's upset with Rui, but he's just rather worried in reality. Tsukasa hurries his pace, as does Rui to keep up with his partner. The taller boy continues to stay close to Tsukasa for warmth and comfort.

Soon enough, the couple reach the Tenma residence, and Tsukasa ushers Rui inside before instantly rushing to find a blanket to drape over him.

"You stay right here, okay? I'm going to get you a blanket to keep you warm." Tsukasa stated as he scurried up the stairs to his room. Rui does as he is ordered to and stays in the living room, taking a seat on the sofa in the centre of the room.

Tsukasa soon returns, now carrying the blanket that was on top of his bed. He goes over in front of Rui and wraps him up in the blanket, making sure his partner is completely covered except for his head and a small part of his shoulders. Tsukasa smiles softly at the sight of Rui all wrapped up in the blanket while he looks up fondly at him, and he pats Rui's head. Rui leans gleefully into the headpat.

"Would you like anything, my love? A warm drink? A spare change of clothes?"

"Umm... Both would be nice. Oh, and a hug too, when you're finished preparing all that and I've changed... Hehe."

"Of course." Tsukasa continues to smile softly as he continues playing with Rui's wet purple hair, and blushes as he quickly leans down to press a soft peck to his partner's forehead before going upstairs to fetch some spare clothes for Rui to change into. Rui watches him leave with a slightly red face, before chuckling to himself.

"What a cutie..." Rui whispers to himself.
