The weekend spent with Lando's family had been nothing short of magical. Elenore couldn't help but think about the warmth and kindness they had showered her with. It was clear that the apple didn't fall far from the tree, for Lando's heartwarming nature was a testament to his upbringing.

As they returned to her apartment, the exhaustion from the journey and the happiness of their time together settled upon them like a cozy blanket. With a shared sigh of delight, they collapsed onto the couch, their bodies entwined in a comfortable tangle. Elenore shifted slightly to find the perfect position, her head resting on Lando's chest as they both caught their breath.
"Your parents are so kind," Elenore remarked, her eyes soft as she looked over at Lando. However, she realized that he had already fallen asleep. A fond smile curled on her lips, watching him sleep so peacefully. Her heart swelled with love, and she couldn't resist a soft chuckle. She gently rose from the couch, moving with grace to avoid disturbing his sleep. Retrieving a cozy blanket, she returned to where he lay and carefully placed it over him.  Kissing his cheek lightly, Elenore whispered,
"I love you." Lando stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open just a bit. His lips curved into a drowsy smile as he mumbled a response.
"Come here, I can't sleep without you." His voice was a sleepy murmur, his arms reaching out for her. Elenore happily obliged, snuggling into his embrace. The warmth of his body against hers was like a familiar melody, soothing and comforting.
"I love you," he repeated, his words barely above a whisper. Elenore turned around to face him, their noses almost touching as she looked into his eyes. Her hand moved to caress his cheek, tracing delicate circles with her thumb.
"I love you too, Lando," she replied, her voice soft.

As Elenor slowly stirred from her sleep, the realization that she was alone on the couch slowly crept into her drowsy mind. She blinked her eyes open, the room dimly lit by the soft morning light. Her gaze wandered around the living room, searching for any sign of Lando, but he was nowhere to be found. A hint of worry began to gnaw at her, and she reached for her phone on the coffee table. 6:02 AM. Elenore frowned, wondering where Lando could have gone at such an early hour. She pushed herself up, wrapping the blanket around her as she stood.
"Lando?" She called out, her voice tinged with concern as she ventured towards the bedroom. Yet, when she reached the bedroom, she discovered it empty.
"Mon amour? Where are you?" Elenore's concern deepened as she started to get worried about Lando's sudden disappearance. But then she heard something, it was Lando. She followed the faint sound of his voice, which led her to her office. Carefully, she pushed the door open, revealing Lando sitting in her chair, engaged in conversation on the phone, scratching his head in contemplation.
"Thank you, Andrea, I'll see you then," he said, ending the call with a sigh of relief. Lando turned his attention to Elenore, a tired but warm smile gracing his face.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" he asked, standing up and walking over to her, wrapping his arms around her.
"No, it's okay." Elenore looked up at him, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Who was it?"
"Andrea, they want me back in the car at Spa," Lando replied. Elenore's heart sank as she realized that his first race in over a month was going to be at the notoriously challenging Spa circuit. She trusted Lando's skills as a driver, but the dangers of the sport were never far from her mind.
"Okay, do you think you'll be ready by then?" Her voice carried a note of concern, and Lando picked up on it immediately.
"As ready as I'll ever be, and I'll have my lucky charm with me." He grinned, attempting to ease her worry.
"I love you," Elenore said, wrapping her arms around him. "I know that you are going to be amazing."
"I love you too," he whispered, kissing the top of her head. "I have something that I want to show you." Lando took her hand and led her over to the table. He sat down in the chair and gestured for her to sit on his lap, which she gladly did. He opened the computer in front of them, revealing a magnificent apartment on the screen.
"What do you think?" Lando asked as Elenore's eyes scanned the image.
"It's beautiful, but it's in Monaco," she replied, her brows furrowing in confusion.
"I know," Lando said with a mischievous grin. "I've been looking for an apartment there for a while now."Elenore turned around to face him, her eyes wide with surprise.
"You're kidding me? Are you moving to Monaco? Without me?" Lando chuckled.
"I thought it was way too early to ask you to move in with me, but if you want to."Elenore's face lit up with a radiant smile.
"Of course I do!" She threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly and planting a kiss on his cheek.
"Great, then we have to go there to look at it. We can't buy our first apartment without seeing it first," Lando suggested. Elenore's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"I love you so much, Lando."He smiled, holding her close.
"I love you too, Elenore."
