When Lando woke up the next morning, he stretched out his arm, instinctively searching for Elenore beside him. However, his hand found only empty sheets and cool air. He blinked his eyes open, slowly realizing he was alone in the room. He groaned, sleep still tugging at his senses, and hastily pulled a shirt over his head. Opening the bedroom door that led out to the living room, he froze in his tracks.
There, on the balcony, were Elenore and Pascale, sitting in the morning sunlight, each with a cup of coffee in hand. Their heads were close together, engaged in an intimate conversation. Lando didn't want to intrude, but something about the way they spoke piqued his curiosity. He decided to stay silent and eavesdrop a little.
"I really love him, mama," Elenore said, her face glowing with affection. Pascale smiled warmly, her eyes filled with understanding.
"I see that, mon chou. I saw the way you looked at each other, just like me and Papa when we were your age." Elenore let out a soft sigh, her gaze drifting to the horizon.
"I wish he could have met Papa, mama. Sometimes I think that Papa sent me Lando just to make sure I am happy and safe." Lando's heart swelled with love for her, and he couldn't help but listen intently, even though he knew he should give them privacy.
"I think that too, mon chou," Pascale replied softly, her voice carrying a touch of nostalgia. "Your papa would have loved him. I can feel it."

After a while, he decided it was time to make his presence known. He cleared his throat and walked out onto the balcony with a gentle smile.
"Good morning, ladies," he greeted them warmly. Elenore's face lit up when she saw him. "Morning, sleepyhead. Did we wake you?" Lando shook his head, joining them at the table.
"No, I couldn't resist the aroma of coffee and good company." Pascale welcomed him with a gracious smile.
"Sit, Lando, join us. We were just having a lovely chat." She handed him a cup of coffee, which Lando accepted with a smile.
"Sleep well?" Elenore looked at Lando as she sipped on her coffee.
"Yeah, I slept like a baby." He smiled.
"What do you two have planned today?" Pascale looked at the two of them with a warm smile on her lips.
"Well, we're going to see that apartment today," Lando shared a hint of excitement in his voice. He couldn't help but think about the possibility of a future with Elenore in Monaco. "Then I think we were thinking of heading to the marina," he added, his gaze shifting to Elenore, their shared anticipation evident.
"How exciting!" Pascale exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I hope you like the apartment. It's pretty close to here. That means I would get to see you more often," she said, her smile radiating warmth.
"I hope we like it too," Lando replied with a genuine grin. As their cups emptied and the morning sun bathed them in its gentle warmth, they continued chatting about their plans for the day. Lando was eager to see the apartment, but he was even more excited to explore Monaco with Elenore. He couldn't help but feel that this trip was an important step in their journey together.

"So do I," Lando agreed, his smile mirroring hers. Isabelle, the realtor, joined them on the balcony.
"What do we think?" she asked, her eyes filled with anticipation.
"We love it!" Lando responded enthusiastically.
"So should we sign some papers?" Isabelle suggested, clapping her hands together in excitement. Lando looked at Elenore, seeking her approval, and she nodded with an even wider smile.

"And there we go," Isabelle said with a warm smile as Lando finished signing the papers. She handed over the keys, and Lando shook her hand, feeling a rush of excitement. "Welcome to your new home," she added, her voice filled with genuine happiness. "These are your keys, and I'll come back next week with an inspector, just to make sure everything is perfect. But for now, enjoy!" With those parting words, Isabelle left them alone in their new apartment.Lando turned to Elenore with an affectionate smile.

"I am so happy," Lando said, his voice filled with love. He walked over to Elenore, his eyes locked onto hers, and wrapped his arms around her. With a gentle lift, he spun her around, and Elenore couldn't help but laugh, her laughter filling the room.
"I love you so much," she whispered, her fingers gently cupping his face.
"I love you too," Lando replied with a heartfelt smile. He leaned in, and their lips met in a sweet, lingering kiss.
