Leaving Home

Year 1991, Long Island, New York, USA

(few weeks before school starts)

The Northern side of Long Island, it is said to be covered by a field of strawberries but if you are one of them, you will be able to see a large campsite with several cabins where children from the age of 8 and above live there.

"What do they mean by one of them," one of the Ravenclaw students asked. No one answered as they have no idea that there was a place like that. 'Them' , 'they' and 'monsters' was a repetition in the books from the future. Some may have connected the dots, but there is no full proof that the truth is justifiable.

To anyone, the place looks like any normal camping grounds, there was volleyball court, cabins, a mess hall, firework beach, a canoe lake, an amphitheatre, operations centre, etc. The unusual part of this camp was the presence of a forge, a combat arena, Pegasus stables, and a climbing wall with dripping lava.

"Wicked..." the marauders and the Prewett twins said in unison.
Some people that paid attention focuses on some specific words mentioned were wondering about that 'Pegasus' is a magical creature in Greek Mythology, why does that place have them?

At the greenhouse, a girl who was busy planting harvesting some fruits while watering the plants. The girl is (Name). She wears an bright orange shirt labelled "CHB" written in black with a pair of blue jeans shorts and a pair of ankle high sneakers. On her neck, she wears two pairs of necklaces, one with four multicolour beads with a North Star pendant in between and one is an orange colour turtledove heart-shaped locket.
