NIGHT TALKS AND ARGUMENTS
(A/N: Edited a bit here and there; sorry for the repost)
Once night fell and everyone in her cabin was asleep, (Name) gazed out the window of her bunk towards Cabin Three, where Percy and his new brother, Tyson, were staying. She could see Percy still awake, staring at the stars with a burdened look. She knew that he had trouble sleeping whenever he was overthinking, just like the last summer and so on. So, she had an idea.
Quietly, she took out her wand and whispered, "Expecto Patronum."
The wizards and demigods alike perked up at the sudden magic. They knew (Name) had skill, but seeing her so young, casting spells or using her demigod powers when she wasn't in Hogwarts was always a treat.
"That's a very advanced spell," Professor Flitwick commented.
A silvery fox emerged, its ethereal form casting a soft glow around the room.
"Wow!"
"A fox?!"
"It suits her personality so well!"
The whispers and gasps of admiration filled the air, both from the demigods who recognized the magic and the wizards who were intrigued by its unfamiliar beauty.
Tyson clapped his hands together. "Pretty fox! Tyson likes."
"Nice one, (Name)," Nico grinned, his dark eyes gleaming with approval. "Always with the dramatic flair."
"Unlike someone I know," Will teased, nudging Nico. "Mr. 'I can shadow-travel into your nightmares.'"
Nico shot him a playful glare. "Hey, it's a useful skill."
"That's quite a Patronus you've got there, Miss Black," observed Amelia Bones. The minister and the other aurors were in awe at the sight.
"It's all thanks to Minnie," (Name) replied with a smile, winking towards her godmother who returned the gesture with a proud look.
"Mate, you see that?" Evan whispered to Regulus, nudging him gently. "Your niece's got skills."
Regulus, feeling a swell of pride, nodded in agreement. "Indeed. She takes after our family."
Sirius, however, stared at his daughter in mock horror. "A fox? Really?"
(Name) rolled her eyes playfully. "You're just jealous, Dad. Foxes are cunning and adaptable, like me."
"And you conjure it so effortlessly," Harry marveled, glancing at Annabeth. "Reminds me of the first time I saw a Patronus."
"Except mine was a stag," Harry added with a nostalgic smile, which caught the attention of James who perked up excitedly upon hearing about his son's Patronus. He nudged Lily, who nodded in agreement with a grin.
