PRINCESS ANDROMEDA
Everyone stared at the screen in confusion. The demigods exchanged knowing looks, memories of the ship that Luke had commandeered flooding back.
"Andromeda? Like, is it the ship's name?" Andromeda asked, her brow furrowed in bewilderment.
Ted nudged Andromeda and looked at his niece, "Looks like you've got a ship named after you two. Quite the honor."
(Name) shivered at that, not liking it very much which went unnoticed by her family members. They were indeed confused, but they decided to see what was going to happen to the children when they board the ship.
Several people were staring at (Name) and her aunt Andromeda weirdly as they wondered if they were the descendant of the princess herself, earning eyerolls from the two of them.
"I named my daughter after the constellation that was named after the princess herself," Cygnus said harshly.
"Besides, Andromeda chose to leave, thus we disowned her after she had left," Druella continued as the parents defended their three daughters, which was a bit shocking since they hadn't talked after what happened once the last book ended.
"I was named after Aunt Andy, so don't bloody start," (Name) said, glaring at anyone who dared to question her family ties.
Barty snorted, "Well, it better be more interesting than it sounds. Ships can be pretty dull."
Evan shrugged, "We'll see. Maybe it's got some hidden surprises."
Rabastan smirked, "Or maybe it's just a ship. People can be surprisingly unoriginal."
Riding the hippocampus was a breeze, quite literally. The four of them zipped along with the wind in their faces, speeding through the waves so smoothly and steadily they hardly needed to hold on at all.
As they approached the colossal cruise ship, (Name) couldn't help but marvel at its sheer size. The white hull towered at least ten stories tall, topped with another dozen levels of decks adorned with brightly lit balconies and portholes. The ship's name was emblazoned just above the bow line in bold black letters, illuminated by a spotlight. It took her a moment to decipher it: "Princess Andromeda."
The reaction in the room was swift, with many eyes turning toward (Name) and Percy. Their names had an uncanny resemblance to the historical figures, especially since (Name)'s middle name was Andromeda, and Percy was her namesake's husband.
Moody, grumbling, "Let's just hope this ship doesn't end up as cursed as some of the others we've seen."
The demigods and satyr gave a huff of laughter, knowing that he was definitely right about that one. However, the others in the crowd were confused on why they were reacting that way, but kept quiet.
