I grabbed Kaapro and walked downstairs to go fix breakfast. I only had on a big t-shirt that was my father since I was in was house. I put Kaapro in his play pen and walked in the kitchen. Don was in the kitchen with Khaleed.
"No get me people who can whip it-" he looked up at me. I backed up.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." I said getting out the kitchen.
"You always ruining stuff." Khaleed said getting up and grabbing a bottle of water.
"I'll just come back in 20 minutes. Hopefully you'll be out of the kitchen by then." I said going in the living room and grabbing Kaapro and going back upstairs. I sat in my room. Kaapro was playing with my hair. Then my phone started ringing. I answered. Putting Kaapro on my bed. "Hello?"
"Yeah hey. You wanna go out and eat breakfast?" My friend Megan asked.
"Yeah, sure." I said bending over to pick out a shirt to wear. I heard someone clear their throat. I turned around to see Don. "Hold on one second Meg." I put the phone down and stood up. "What?"
"Nothing, I was about to ask where the bathroom was."
"Right next door." I said fake smiling. He licked his lips and walked away.
I picked up the phone. "I'm bac-"
"Who was that? He sounded cute."
"My brother's friend."
"Kaapro has a friend?" I put my head in my hands.
"I swear, if I didn't know you since we was little I would hate you. Kaapro isn't even one yet. So it's Khaleed's friend an-" I heard someone clear their throat again. I turned around to see Don.
"I just wanted to let you know that was thinking about you while I was peeing."
I sighed. "The door." I saw pointing out the room.
"But it was good thoughts." he said as I closed the door.
"Girl, when I say that I never saw any one as fine as he... I never saw anyone finer." I said laughing.
