Thalia's pov

Thalia made a mental note that when the war was over she would find Morpheus or Epiales or whatever god there was in charge of nightmares and punch him in the face. because she was speaking for every demigod when she said that she had enough of dreams. 

She was standing on half-blood hill next to her pine tree. down in camp half blood demigods were running around preparing for battle. On the other side, Romans were setting up camp and preparing for battle. thalia could see wilde centaurus and other monsters walking around down there. 

Then a man's voice said "thalia". thalia spoon around and so the last person she had expected to see. her dad. 

Zeus had shoulder-length black hair and a gray and black neatly trimmed beard. He is wearing a dark blue pinstripe suit. Thalia looked into his electric blue eyes that were the exact same color as hers. He looked as surprised as thalia felt. it had been weeks since thalia last hoard from artemis and a year since zeus spoke to her. 

Neither of them spoke, then thalia decided that she should break the silence. "How are you here? '' she said " I mean being the King of the gods should you not be the most affected by the Greek-roman split". 

" It is easier for us gods to gather ourselves in dreams," he said. Then he looked relaxed, like it is nice to talk to her. Then thalia knew that something was wrong. " It is good to have clarity again" he said and looked at Thalia with a puzzled look " why did you call for me".

" What do you mean? " Thalia said. Zeus said " you have a strong desire to talk to me. That's how I'm here". Thalia thought, did she want to talk to him?. For weeks she had tried to talk to Artemis for help. Now she was talking to her dad who is the most absent father in the world and she didn't want to. Then she remembered what Nico said in the Amazons base and she realized that she did want to talk to her father. 

"Yeah I do want to talk to you" she said " what happened to Nico's mom". Zeus face changed into something that Thalia never thought she would see on her father's face. Shame. "Thalia you must understand. The great prophecy had just been made. I feared for the fate of olympus. and hades..". "Show me " Thalia interrupted. "Thalia i..", "show me " she said again. Zeus sighs and the world turns to mist and spins around. 

When the world stopped spinning and solidified, thalia was standing in a hotel lobby. 2 children were playing around and a man and woman were talking. then thalia realized who the children were, nico and bianca as little kids. Bianca didn't look much different from when thalia knew. olive skin, worm smile, black hair braided behind her, she even wore her hat. But Nico looked different, he looked happy. like he didn't plan or was at a funeral. 

thalia looked at the adults. The man must have been hades. He looked like nico, pale, black eyes, and he was wearing an old fashioned wool suit. the woman must be their mother, she was an exact image of bianca. The woman was wearing a black 1940s dress with a hat, and she spoke with an Italian accent. (A/N I can't remember exactly what they said but I remember what it was about). 

Hades wanted to hide her and the children in the underworld. And Zeus wanted to take them to camp half blood to be trained. But their mother didn't want to be speredet from them. Thalia realized that Hades must really love her since he went against Zeus. 

Then he stopped talking and the kids stopped playing. Thalia got a tickling sense in her neck. The sense she got every time she used lightning. Hades yelled out and a bubble of darkness surrounded Nico and bianca. The motel exploded. The world turns to mist. And when it reformed the lobby was on fire. 

Hades was holding the dead body of Maria di angelo and yelling to the sky. Nico and Bianca were looking at their mother not understanding what happened. Then a fury showed up and Hades told her to take Nico and Bianca and erase their memories in the river lethe. '
