Yeji's POV
We all took an uber to grab food. We decided to grab a big meal and started pregaming at the restaurant. We all bought a couple rounds of drinks. I was definitely feeling the liquor in my system.
Yuna, Chaeryeong, and I had to stop to pace ourselves because we were drinking an ungodly amount of Soju.
But Lia and Ryujin were on their 8th bottle of Soju and they both looked perfectly fine.
"Bet you can't out drink me" Lia challenges Ryujin.
"Bet I can!" Ryujin challenges her back.
I've never seen Lia this competitive before. Especially in drinking.
I would've passed out then and there if I even attempted to drink as much as these two. We eventually left the restaurant. Ryujin and Lia were noticeably getting tipsier by the second.
Seems like both of them lost their bet. Although, they were still coherent and functioning but both of them we're definitely wobbling to the bar.
We got to the bar counter and order another around of soju.
"To us girls, and to having a great night tonight" Lia winks at me.
Weird...
We all raised our glasses and took the shot. I was feeling it again. I was getting a little wobbly. Ryujin notices.
"Hey are you okay?" She asks.
I smile and nod.
One more shot and I was for sure going to be drunk.
Yuna and Chaeryeong started to head to the dance floor. But before we went to join them Lia suggested to take another shot.
I tried to get out of it, but Lia kept pushing me. Then, Ryujin kept offering to take my shot if I didn't want too.
I was afraid she was going to get alcohol poisoning if she drank anymore. It probably wasn't the best choice, but I took the shot.
"Come on girls! Let's danceee" Lia sang as she dragged us both to the dance floor.
At first, we were dancing as a group, and having fun laughing with each other. Lia then started to dance with this guy next to her. Chaeryeong and Yuna were in their own little world.
I didn't notice Ryujin's hands on my waist, and I honestly didn't care. I love how it felt, or maybe the alcohol is just kicking in full force. We swayed to the music. I could feel her body up against mine, and her hands start to move up my body. I turn around. Her eyes looked directly into mine. I move closer to her ear.
"Ryujin, what are you doing?" I ask smiling at her.
"Dancing" she smiles
"And moving your hands a little too close" I say holding her hands to stop her from going any further.
She puts her head down and put she hands by her sides. "I'm sorry. I didn't meant to. I I... I gotta go to the bathroom" She pushes through the crowd.
"Ryujin wait!" I try to catch up with her but people just kept getting in my way.
"I liked dancing with you. I was just joking" I whispered to myself.
Ryujin's POV
I should've known better. Why did I think I stood a chance. For a second, I thought we were feeling each other.
"2 shots please" I ordered.
We are strictly nothing more than friends. I need to stop imagining that she feels what I feel.
