AFTER ONE MONTH

TEJASSWI'S POV

Nine months and five days has been passed since I have conceived and since morning I was having pain around my belly and back. The pain was getting increased each and every second.

Karan called the Doctor and told her about my condition. She said that maybe I am ready to give birth to my child. She told Karan to bring me to the hospital and Karan immediately made me sit inside his car and we reached at the hospital in less than fifteen minutes.

When we reached outside the hospital, two ward boys were already there with a stretcher and as soon as they spotted us, they immediately ran towards us and made me lay down on the stretcher and walked inside the hospital dragging the stretcher with them.

Karan went to fill the form at the reception and came back in less than two minutes. Doctor told Karan that I was ready and she will wait for the labour pain to increase as it's not enough to deliver the baby yet.

I started panick at her words but she was so kind to me all the time and she assured me that everything will be alright. I took deep breaths to calm down myself but the contractions around my belly were making it hard for me to calm down.

After almost two hours, the pain started increasing and it became so hard for me to breathe. I was feeling the pain around my belly, back and thighs. It felt like someone was scratching me with nails or with some sharp weapon.

The doctor told me to take deep breaths and push when I feel the contractions. I did as she told me to do and almost three hours later of screaming out my lungs, finally I heared a muffled cry of my baby.

I was so tired that I couldn't hear or say anything. I just closed my eyes and I felt some tears falling from my eyes.

TWO HOURS LATER

I woke up from my sleep and looked around to find myself in a hospital room. I remembered why I am in the hospital. I tried to sit but suddenly the door flew open and Karan entered inside the room.

Karan: Hey Laddoo! How are you feeling?

Tejasswi: I'm feeling well. I was so tired and fell asleep.

Karan: Good, The Doctor told me that you were so brave and didn't lose hope. She even told me that for once she thought that she will need to perform a C-section but you completely shocked her with your strong will.

Tejasswi: Thank you Sunny.

Karan: Thank you for this beautiful gift, Love.

I was going to ask for the baby but my mother in law entered inside the room with a little baby in her arms. My heart was thumping inside my chest and I was so excited and nervous.

Karan: She is so beautiful, just like you.

My mother in law gave my daughter into my arms and I looked at her face. Indeed she was so beautiful and I looked her tiny fingers and I smiled unknowingly while looking at her.
