TEJASSWI'S POV

After almost 8 hours and 30 minutes flight, we finally reached in Karan's parent's house. As soon as we reached there, my eyes went wide in shock. It wasn't a house, it was a Villa and it was two times bigger than Karan's mansion.

Soon Karan's mom came running towards us and hugged me tightly and I also hugged her back. I looked at Karan and found a frown on his face.

Karan's Mom: Welcome home, sweetheart. Good to see you again. I've missed you a lot and Meenu is also excited to meet you. Please come inside.

We both started walking inside the Villa but stopped in our track when Karan's irritated voice came from behind us. We both turned and found a very bored and frustrated look on his face while his both hands were resting on his waist.

Karan: Mom?

Karan's Mom: Yes Sunny, what happened?

Karan: I'm also here.

Karan's Mom: Yeah, I can see that. Let's go, inside.

Karan: What? Won't you even hug me? You will only welcome your daughter in law?

He asked with an irritating look plastered on his face.

Karan's Mom: You have visited several times before but Teju is visiting us for the first time so she needs a warm welcome. You can make yourself comfortable beta as you don't need any guide to walk around, right?

With those words, Mumma started guiding me inside the Villa and I stuck my tongue towards Karan and started following my mother in law. Karan walked passed by my side but he whispered something in my ear before walking away.

Karan: You are increasing your punishment by doing such things baby girl Just wait until we'll be alone in our bedroom, you won't be able to walk properly, the very next day.

He walked away after winking at me and I glued to my place in shock. Mumma called my name and bring me back from my trance.

Karan's Mom: What happened Teju???

Tejasswi: Nothing Mumma.

We came inside and a beautiful girl came running towards me and squeezed me into a bear hug. She must be Meenu di I guess.

Meenu Hey! I'm Meenu, your sister in law and Karan's elder sister. I'm very happy to finally get to see you. Welcome home.

Tejasswi: Thank you, I'm also happy to see you and congratulations!

Meenu: Congratulations? For wha....ohhhh, sorry I forgot in excitement. Well, thank you for your wishes. You must see them, they are so cute.

Karan's Mom: Meenu, dear atleast let her sit first. She must be tired after such a long flight.

Meenu: Sorry, yeah come Teju, Sit with us and I will bring the babies here.

Karan's Mom: Maya, bring some tea and snacks for my daughter.

After few minutes, a lady in her mid forties came with a food tray and placed tea and snacks on the table.

Maya- Ma'am, is she your daughter in law?

Karan's Mom: Yes, Maya and please how many times I've told you to call me by my name. Please don't address me as ma'am.

Maya-Okay. But I must say you have got a diamond in form of your daughter in law. She's so beautiful.
