I woke up to the sun blazing in my eyes from the window by the TV. I yawned from my sleep, realizing that it was way better than yesterday night.
I was on the couch with someone's arm wrapped over my shoulder. Jaren and I had fallen asleep on the couch. He had his arm draped over me with my back to his chest. He used his other arm as a pillow. It was oddly comfortable and I almost didn't want to move. I felt the steady rise and fall of his breath and the warmth he gave to me.
The switch controllers were on the floor including John's. He must have gone to his room during the night. I looked over my shoulder to see if Jaren was awake. He was soundlessly snoring and looked so peaceful while asleep. I couldn't help but smile. I decided that I would make breakfast since Nelson and Chris would probably be coming back and Jaren and I cuddling probably would be a little difficult to explain.
I easily slid out from under his arm without waking him and walked into the kitchen. I started making bacon, eggs, and sausages. The aroma filled the house and summoned John to the kitchen. "Smells good. Love it when you make breakfast. Free food and it makes the house smell good." John smiled.
"Well, it isn't free," I giggled, "It's the breakfast stuff you bought." His smile disappeared, making me laugh.
He rolled his eyes, "At least it is being put to good use. Might make Smii7y cuddle you more."
I froze for a second from flipping the bacon, "What the hell are you talking about? You're weird."
"Pft. Don't play koi. I saw you two last night. Adorable." He smirked.
"We just both fell asleep." I defended.
"So you don't deny it." He said with a smile.
"Nope. Can't tease me for this one, John." I smiled.
He raised an eyebrow, "Wanna bet?"
I hesitated, "Not really."
John smiled, "That's what I thought."
"You think?" Jaren asked with a grin. He had his arms resting on the back of the couch and then his chin on his arms. He had a bedhead that I thought was kind of cute.
"Only two percent of the time." John agreed.
Jaren nodded appreciably, "So what are we talking about?"
I shot John a look of, "You better not say anything". "That tomorrow will be the best birthday Lea has ever had." John said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes as I put the bacon on a plate, "My birthday only reminds me that I'm getting older and I'm closer and closer to death."
"Stick in the mud." John grumbled.
"Then I'll make it my goal to make today and tomorrow the best birthday ever. That's a promise." Jaren smiled.
"Breakfast is ready." I said, "It will be the best days when you take me shopping."
John and Jaren got up to grab food while Matt had appeared from his bedroom. Chris and Nelson soon arrived and we all talked around the island counter while eating.
"How about we do some recording before dinner? Some vlogging will do our channels some good." Chris said.
"Oh! Oh! I have a good idea for this!" Nelson exclaimed.
"Now I'm scared." Matt giggled before taking a bite of sausage.
"No! No! It's a great idea but we gotta run to the store to grab some things." Nelson explained.
"Oh. I think I know what you want to do." Chris grinned.
"Now I'm scared too." I said.
"You guys will love it. Just get a recording spot set up with a table. Grizzy and I will go to the store real quick." Chris planned.
