Sonic's POV
Me and Amy were still in the room.
"So you and Shadow?" Amy said.
"Oh heh yea he's something isn't he?" I told her.
"I can tell he cares about you a lot." She said.
"Really?" I said.
"Oh yea, he cares about you I know it." Amy said. It made me happy knowing that other people can see Shadow cares about me.
"Hey so Tails..." Amy started.
My head shot up to that name, Tails.. He's practically my brother. I remember when he was younger and would always bring me these little inventions..
"Is he okay?" I asked..
"Oh yea, well I came here originally because Tails wanted to see you." Amy said.
"Oh really?" I said, leaning in.
"Yea, he got nominated for the number one inventor!" Amy said.
"Oh wow that's great! Is there a party and all?" I asked.
"Oh yea there is.... But are you gonna be able to go?" Amy said.
She had a point, I don't think I could go. Plus I know shadow he isn't gonna want me going out.
"I don't know.. I want to but Shadow is.. protective not in a bad way he just doesn't want me getting hurt." I told her.
"I get it but Tails is your best friend, you wanna support him don't you?" Amy said.
"I mean I do, and of course he's my best friend.. I just- I don't know Ames. " I said.
"Look, I know he's your boyfriend and all and you two care for each other but this is Tails we're talking about, listen.. just come with me, you don't have to tell him, you'll be fine. " Amy said.
I didn't want to break the trust with me and him, but if I told him he wouldn't let me go...
I took a deep breath. "Ok.. what time?"
"8:00, at the Museum." She said.
"Wait- damnit I don't have anything to wear my clothes are on the next plane to Europe." I told her.
"Well I guess we're gonna go shopping."
