It must have been late afternoon when the sedatives had finally worn off of Sonic and he was able to move his limbs again. The muzzle on his face was still tightly strapped and his wrists were tied down to a metal table in a bright room filled with buzzing fluorescent lights. The hedgehog snarled softly, pulling against his restraints. I should have known that asshole would do something like this the moment he had my trust. What a piece of shit.
Sonic could feel his anger bubbling in his chest. Dark Gaia. He was trying to destroy Sonic from the inside. Take his mind so he could get the two of them out of the situation. Sonic squeezed his eyes shut, doing what he could to ignore the pain until a woman dressed in a white lab coat entered the room. Sonic snapped angrily at her, saliva dripping out of the holes in his muzzle. Keep yourself together, Sonic. Don't let it take your mind.
The woman hardly flinched. "Sonic the Hedgehog," she said while staring at her clipboard. Sonic swallowed another growl. She glanced up at him and turned to a cart full of surgical tools. She selected a small needle and filled the vial with a murky yellow substance. Sonic flinched harshly when he saw her raise it to his shoulder, one of her latex-gloved hands carefully holding his limb in place while she stuck the needle into his flesh, injecting him with the substance.
Once the needle was emptied, she threw it away and turned back to Sonic. The hedgehog's panting had calmed, the pain in his chest no longer present. "That liquid was a serum we created for Dark Gaia. Unfortunately we have nothing to rid it from your body, but that will keep it at bay for the next eight minutes, give or take. That leaves me time to check on you before it returns and we can start our testing," she explained as she set her hands on both sides of Sonic's chest, feeling his muscles for any aberrations.
Sonic glared at her. Even if Dark Gaia wasn't currently awake inside him, that didn't mean he wasn't upset. As if reading his mind, the lady removed his muzzle and continued checking Sonic. She felt around his knees and legs while the blue blur spoke up, "What the hell do you want from me!?"
"The Commander gave me specific orders to retain such information from you. The most I can say is that it has something to do with your Gaia situation," she responded briskly. Once his legs were deemed unharmed, she checked his arms, grabbing a pair of surgical tweezers from her cart and removing the stitches from the bullet wound in his arms."Wait! That's not healed yet!" he exclaimed, but went quiet when all that was left was some faint scarring where normally it should have been reopened. The woman hummed. "The Gaia's abilities benefit you as well. Symbiotic behavior," she muttered the last part under her breath and jotted it down on her clipboard. She continued to his thighs, squeezing each area of them before she moved to his lower region.
Sonic instinctively squeezed his knees shut, not wanting her to go poking her nose where it didn't belong. "That's private," he growled. The woman just rolled her eyes and pressed two fingers against Sonic's slit, rubbing it slowly and prompting his penis to slide from his sheath, as appalling as it was to Sonic. "H-hey!" he cried out. She examined it for a little moment, taking note of the semi healed bruise near the base of it. Once she had written it down, she easily flicked the head of his genitalia and it went flaccid within the second. He stared, befuddled.
"I see many men each day, Sonic, this isn't the first time I have to check someone's genitals," she said pointedly and let the appendage sheath itself again. "You seem physically healthy, aside from the bruise. Do you have any conditions I should know of?" Sonic turned his nose up and closed his eyes. "And if I did, why should I tell you?"
"So that you don't die when we put you through testing," she monotonously replied, adjusting her glasses.
