It's the morning of Wednesday June 15th, 2022. If you have a golden retriever then you'll understand what it's like to share a bed with one. I opened my eyes to a paw in my face and Duck somehow managed to take up the entire bed. I honestly wouldn't want it any other way. The happy idiot is like a child to me which is why I worked out a deal that would allow me to take him with me on this long journey. He's well trained and basically a chick magnet, just have to bribe him with treats and a stick from time to time. The big floof will not be left in the hands of another or shipped off to be boarded for an entire Summer.

I finished packing up my things and patiently waited for the driver to arrive at my place. I went through a mental checklist to make sure I didn't forget anything.

Cameras? Check. Wallet? Check. Clothes? Check. Shoes? Check. Chick magnet? Double check.

When I finished making sure I had everything I conveniently got a text from the driver saying he arrived. I grabbed Duck and all my belongings, loaded up the car, and we were on our way.

It was a long drive but not too bad, I was simply eager to get there and begin working. I made sure to keep Stanway updated on my arrival because I was fully expecting a proper welcome.

We finally pulled up to St. Georges Park and much to my surprise was a fully kitted out Georgia Stanway waiting for me with open arms. I let Duck out first who sprinted right to her, jumped up, and got all of his cute puppy slobber all over her training kit.

"If I didn't know any better I would think he likes you a little more then me." I stated.

I quickly walked over and gave my best friend a hug who I hadn't seen in quite a while. Something tells me I'm going to have a great time this Summer.

"Morris you know I love Duck and I'm his auntie but let's not make this a regular thing with all the slobber." I could tell she was joking but still it brought a smile to my face.

"Good to see you too Stanway. Don't worry, he won't be with me every second of the day. Just couldn't leave the poor guy behind, somehow the higher-ups let me take him with me."

"Well I love you and I love my nephew so I'm cool with it."

We started walking through the training center and got a proper tour, I knew it was big but I didn't  know it was THIS big. Georgia left to do some team building stuff and I was shown to the media department and then eventually to where I was staying. There's a hotel attached to the facility which made it convenient to go to and from work every day. All the girls get their own rooms and then the staff are placed on a different floor. I was blessed with a larger room because of my plus one, which you won't catch me complaining about.

Training starts soon and I was asked to be on the pitch and get pictures and videos of the girls walking out of the facility. I said bye to Duck and quickly grabbed my things and began heading to the training grounds. I grabbed my big camera and set up shop right on the pitch, time to get started.
