"Haha, Zayn." Zayn's fiance, Pansy Parkinson, took Zayn's hand and kissed it lightly, "I've heard rumors that people are voting for you as Yule King!"

Zayn grunted in response, not listening.

"Maybe we'll win King and Queen, together!"

"Mm, right." Zayn looked over towards the crowd of dancers, not really looking at anything. No, he was looking at something in particular. The love of his life...someone he had wanted to stop loving for awhile now...Ni was dancing with some of her activism friends in the middle of the dance floor. She looked to be having a great time, her smile lighting up the entire room.

Ni was wearing a floor length, indigo dress shewn with intricate floral designs. It had a slight v-neck which perfectly accentuated her collar bones. She had on shimmering makeup and this magical eyeliner that changed color with her mood. It was silver right now, which everyone knew meant she was perfectly happy.

He couldn't look away.

"Zayn?" Pansy looked at her lover irritatedly. "Zayn??" Pansy waved her hand in front of Zayn's face.

"Huh?"

Pansy rolled her eyeballs, "are you even paying attention to me? Wait till your father hears about this!"

Zayn paled slightly, "what? No! I am paying attention...um...do you want to dance?" he said after a moment of pointed silence.

Pansy laid out her palm for Zayn to take. He reluctantly took his fiancee's hand and together they started two-stepping about a foot apart from each other.

Taylor was nervously pacing the ballroom. She was wearing a purple ball gown that reached all the way down to the floor. It was shimmering of course and she felt enchanting in it.

"I feel enchanted to meet you, Taylor." Harry said wearily, nervous about his new discovery about Taylor's heritage.

"Aw, you listened to my new album." Taylor swooned.

Indeed, she had just released a new album titled Speak Now with many different songs, which she wrote all by herself. To clarify, she replaced the name of Tom with John in order to be discreet.

Despite the new ballgown, everything else about Taylor's life had been in shambles. She couldn't stop thinking about Cedric. There were dark circles under her eyes that concealer couldn't cover. She couldn't stop her hands from shaking.

"Hey, baby, should we dance?" Harry tried to take his mind off of his dark thoughts surrounding Taylor and her father.

"yeah .... no.... Harry, I need to win Yule Queen. If I don't, I don't know if I can handle it all."

"What do you mean?"

"Harry," she took her boyfriend's hands, gripping them like they were her life support, "Harry, I think I did something bad, but why's it feel so bad?" her voice shook with an uncharacteristic vulnerability.

"The only bad thing about you is that attitude," Harry giggled, "let's dance!"

The couple went on the dance floor, passing a drunken Liam who was singing Strip That Down to a crowd of unimpressed girls. He was holding a coffee mug enchanted to be bottomless, he had filled it with pure vodka, and was drinking to his heart's content.

"You know, I told people to vote for that murderer, Zayn, hahaha!!" Liam whisper-yelled after he had finished his song.

Louis was dancing along with his phone propped up against the wall, filming one of his new tiktok videos to his sister's brand new song titled Enchanted. It was a TikTok sensation, and he figured he would both support and exploit his sister's fame in order to gain more views.
