Thanksgiving time was always a happy time for Louis Weasley. Growing up poor, he never had enough to eat, but his mum would also make sure there was a full feast on this special, thankful day. Going to Hogwarts made it even better. The house elves would pile the tables full of turkey, ham, stuffing, and best of all, the pumpkin pie. In his third year at Hogwarts, Louis discovered that dipping your pumpkin pie in your pumpkin juice, it added a whole new palette of flavours that wizardkind was not ready for. He had shared this discovering with Ni when they were dating...and now he was watching her from across the table as she dunked her pumpkin pie in her pumpkin juice, laughing as Harry must have said something funny.

He sighed, trying not to let her joy without him deter him from loving his favourite holiday. This year was extra special for him because he and his siblings had the plan to surprise their mum with a wedding ring. Not to marry them, but because their father couldn't afford one when they got married, and for these past thirty years of marriage, had never been able to raise enough money for one.

Luckily they had four famous children now and they were splitting the cost. Unfortunately, Louis had been down on his luck these past few years because all the one direction money was contractually Harry's. On top of that, he had never really made it big on his own. Taylor and frEd and George were able to have outstanding careers, but without One Direction, Louis sometimes wondered if life was even worth living.

He had been out on the streets, playing piano with one one arm, and trying to learn how one could play a guitar with only one arm (without much luck he discovered). But now, even though One Direction was reforming, he still was not able to make much money when it came to his solo career.

So there he was, eating his turkey dejectedly, wondering how we would tell his siblings that he couldn't muster the moolah.

"Hey, Louis!" perked a small, first year boy.

"Oh, Shawn. Hey." Louis picked at his turkey with his fork, staring at Ni and thinking of his empty bank account. He wished Ni hadn't given the ring he bought for her to charity. With that money, he could buy his mum a ring of her own....

"Just wishing I had more money, what else is new." Louis smiled up at Shawn.

Shawn laughed in his face, "oh! I understand that problem!"

"Huh?"

"I used to be very poor. So poor, in fact, that I would not have been able to fly from Canada to Hogwarts."

"Woah, that's poor." Louis agreed.

"Yeah," Shawn pulled out a muggle device, "but then I started posting these videos on 'Vine," though now I post on TikTok!"

"Wow thanks for the advice! Where do I get one of these muggle devices!"

"Well, actually I have an extra four! Here take one!" Shawn handed Louis one of the mysterious shiny black boxes.

"Wait, Shawn, what do I–" but Shawn had disappeared.

Louis flipped the device over, gave it a shake, and then tapped the front. It glowed, saying the words "Hello. Tap the screen to continue."

"Oh, hello." He responded to the device as he tapped the screen. It took him to a language selection, to setting up how the device operates, if he wanted a "phone number" attached to it, or an "email" both of these things he said no to.

When the device was set up, he unlocked it and sat with it open for many minutes, trying to find this elusive "TikTok."

Unsure of what to do, he held down the button on the side, hoping it would bring him to where he needed to be.

"How may I be of assistance." a beautiful woman's voice rang out.

"Hello? Who are you!" Louis shouted in the middle of the dining hall.

"Hello, I am Siri, your personal virtual assistant." rang back the voice.

"Oh, hi Siri, I'm Louis."

"Hello Louis, how may I help you today?" she asked politely.

"Do you know 'TikTok?" He asked her.

"Hold on, let me search the web...according to the web, TikTok is a popular video platform."

Louis frowned, "So how do I get to TikTok?"

"You can download apps on the App Store." She said helpfully.

"Thank you, Siri, you're probably the most helpful person I know."

"You're welcome."

Louis clicked around some more, finding the App Store, and eventually finding TikTok, taking forever to discover how to download it.

Once the app was on his muggle device, he was transported to a whole new world. A world of making and watching videos that he could enjoy. And the most important thing, people would watch videos he made and he would get money for 60 seconds of work.

Jumping up from the table, Louis ran up to the Room of Requirement where he set up his phone to record as he started a one handed jam on the piano.

He posted the video and immediately got 10000000 million views and 12 sponsorship offers.

"Wow, this TikTok thing is easy." He muttered to himself.
