As the words left my mouth, the smile on Ace's face disappeared, "what?"

I shook my head, "It's not what you think, Ace, he just asked me and-"

He raised a brow, "He just asked you? When did he have the chance of talking to you?"

I smiled softly, ignoring the fact Ace's face are empty from any smile, "Well, I was in the library, and I didn't even recognize him! But, he asked me if I could help him out, and I said yes-"

He cut me off once again, "how could you not recognize him? I've been talking about him since forever! You've been to my games, Blair."

I raised a brow, "I didn't really pay attention to his face, Ace."

I could see the hurt on his face, "Well, you clearly should have, fuck, I can't believe it."

Is he serious?

It's just one study session.

"Yeah, well, sucks to be you, i guess."

Lucas walked in the room, frowning, "you good here?"

I shook my head, "ask your best friend."

Lucas raised a brow, the smile disappearing from his face, "I think I will, what the fuck did he do?"

As he walked closer to Ace, a glare on his face, "well then? Don't let me shush you out, Ace."

Oh fuck.

I think that even I got scared by his tone, "no need to be that mean."

"Oh, there's a need to be mean-" Lucas started, but ace cut him off, "she's going to meet Matt!"

Lucas frowned , "Matt? Matt smith? The fuck?"

"We're going to study." I excused.

"Study what? His mouth?" Ace raised his voice.

Lucas walked closer to Ace in a threatening manner, "Hey, watch your tone when your talking to my sister."

"I need to go." I said, I picked up my stuff, while Lucas nodded slowly, "I'll drive you."

Ace groaned , "are you serious? You're letting her go?"

Lucas raised a brow, "letting her go? She's not my dog, Ace, she can go wherever the fuck she wants but if you continue to talk like that to her, you won't be able to walk."

God, my brother is the best.

"I didn't mean it like that, Lucas, you know I didn't, but Matt isn't-"

"-Isn't your choice to make." Lucas said instead.

I smiled softly, "I'll be back, I promise, we're just studying, Ace, nothing more, he needed help with biology, and I'm great at biology, you know I am."
