Neither of you did anything wrong, but the whole Spider-Man thing did put a damper on your relationship—the constant worrying, having to cover for Miles if he was absent, needing to keep your dating on the down low just in case you wouldn't get hurt/captured by any villains. But just because it was a mutual agreement doesn't mean that he didn't miss you.
Rio noticed how much the breakup with you affected her boy. He doesn't like talking about it, but it was as clear as day that he thought about you daily. Miles didn't tell the real reason why you two separated to his parents because they'd flip out, especially his dad. He had to make up some lie.
