𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄... because of Miles' work as Spider-Man, he sometimes overhears the conversations of other students at his school talking about his alter ego. You know he's eavesdropping because he's, well, he makes it obvious. Especially when he's just looking at them dead-on like he has a dead wish or something.
So, you listen to. The gist is that these aforementioned students either have bad opinions of Spider-Man, critiquing him, or saying how they 'could do better than him'. There are even times when Miles will just butt into the conversation and correct the micro mistakes they made or debate them entirely. If it ever gets bad, you will have to drag him away by the arm.
Once you two are alone, you will reprimand him by telling him that it is wrong to get so argumentative when it comes to Spider-Man because you don't wish for him to get hurt in both his secret life and his personal one. Long story short, Miles knows you're right- you always are- but will still be salty about the earlier encounter for the remainder of the day.
