Without warning, he reached out and tucked your hair behind your ear.
'An elf that looks like a human?'  Jin muttered.
'Don't ever compare me to a human'  You spat.
He looked at you in the eyes, unphased by your comeback.
'These ears of yours are quite charming, and that common button nose'  He moved his hand to your chin, grabbing it and moving your face up.
'Elves usually have pointy ears and button noses'  You said sarcastically, rolling your eyes.
Jin chuckled and released you from his grip.
'And I thought elves were supposed to be sweet and kind, but you have quite the fiesty attitude don't you?'  He smirked, circling around you, observing you.

'No, I'm not, I just don't like humans?'  You replied, turning and twisting around, struggling to follow his gaze.
'Really now?'  Jin said.
You nodded your head, staring at the floor. You were snapped out your state as he suddenly grabbed your wrist and pulled you close.
'I'm sure I can change that'  He muttered.
Flustered, you tried to back away but he kept a strong hold on you.
'Get back to your duties'  Jin ordered.
As all the soldiers and maids and servants bustled off back to their stations, you stood there impatiently.

'Can I go home now?' You groaned.
'You will go home when I say' Jin firmly said.
You looked at him, quite shocked, annoyed though. Suddenly, he tugged you out the throne room and up these sets of stairs. Yeah, the airship had stairs, typical rich king stuff.
'Where are you taking me?' You sighed.
'My room, Y/N' He replied.
Before you could even protest, you had already reached a large set of doors, Jin used his free hand to open one up and he pulled you inside with him. Finally having the grip released from your wrist, you just walked around his large room, awkwardly waiting for something to happen as he disappeared somewhere.

After a minute he emerged from his closet and sat down on a black velvet couch.
'Well, sit?' Jin sighed, signalling to the empty spot next to him.
'I'd rather stand-'
'Sit' He demanded.
Freaked out, you quickly walked over and sat down, keeping your distance. You remained focused on the floor as you could feel his gaze burning you.
'I guess you're wondering why I brought you here' He began.
'Oh, am I?' You replied sarcastically.
He just chuckled, unbothered, before going on.
'When my soldiers were making the announcement last night, I was watching, and I saw you' He started.

'I thought you were a human hiding away on Mystica..'
The word 'human' made you shudder again.
'But then I saw those cute pointy ears, however you aren't exactly the shortest or stubbiest elf to exist, are you?' He wondered, reaching out to you.
'No, but I don't care-'
He suddenly stood up and grabbed your arm, ripping you up too. You were met with his chiselled face staring down directly into yours.
'Hm, still short enough though' He giggled.
You rolled your eyes at him, he really thought he was funny.
'Cut to the point, please!' You groaned in exasperation, sitting back down.
'I became curious, why is an elf like you more resembling of a human? You hold the physical traits of one but not the, vertical traits. It leads me to think you aren't ALL elf' Jin explained.

Absolutely appalled at this statement, you stared at him with your jaw dropped open.
'Are you an expert?' You cried, standing up. 'Are you trying to feed your own delusions or something?! Are you suggesting I'm only HALF elf or something?!' You shouted, pacing around the room.
'That's exactly what, and it makes you all the more intriguing, my dear' Jin replied, getting up and slowly walking up to you.
'Well, I'm not having this, I am a full elf and I have no such human in me!' You yelled.
Jin just laughed and caught you before you fled out the door.
'Y/N darling, one DNA test is all it takes, and that's why I brought you here today' He smiled, holding you by the shoulders.

You pulled away from him.
'What?' You said.
'You heard me, sweetie' He chuckled, adjusting his crown which was basically drowning in his fluffy hair.
'No, I do not consent to any DNA test, I already know I'm an elf' You muttered, avoiding eye contact.
Suddenly, a tall shadow cast over you as Jin was now right infront of you. As he used his two fingers to lift your chin up, you were met with a smug look casting his entire face.
'I'm the King, you think I need your consent? It's just a simple DNA test...' He scoffed, aggressively throwing your face back down.
'You aren't my King and never will be!' You shouted back.
'Oh honey, I wouldn't speak too soon' Jin chuckled.

Agitated more than anything, you could only just dig your face in your palms and just circle around.
'I'm not here to deal with your little tantrums, we have a test to do' He smiled, walking to the door expecting you to follow him.
'Yeah off you go, I'm not doing anything' You rebelled, sitting down on the floor.
Jin just sighed and walked over to you, standing over you.
'Oh really now?' His low voice threatened.
'Yes I- AAAH!'
You were interrupted by Jin strongly grasping you by the armpits and lifting you up before draping you over his shoulder.
'PUT ME DOWN, YOU STUPID HUMAN!' You cursed, kicking and punching.
'Keep talking, love' He giggled.
Knowing it was useless, you just accepted the random test and kept your emotions contained.

'Wanna tell me why I'm doing a DNA test then?' You sighed.
'To find out if you're half human' Jin replied as he carried you down some stairs.
'Right, know that, but why so randomly?' You rolled your eyes.
'I would rather tell you after' he muttered.
That made you worried, I mean it was all a bit weird. Snatched from your home by soldiers because their king saw you, thought you were human and wants to do a DNA test on you? Obviously something deeper was behind it all.
'Does my mother know?' You asked, worried about her.
'I've sent my messengers to her' He said.

'Will I go home after this-'
'Honey, enough with the questions, alright?' Jin asked in a sweet voice.
Annoyed a human was bossing you around, you just held your tongue, for now anyways. Soon enough, you reached an all white hallway with bright lights that hurt your eyes, you shielded them with your palms.
'Are the lights scaring you or something, Y/N?' Jin jeered as he pushed open a thick white door.
'I'm only used to natural skylight and candlelight, thanks' You snapped back.
He only just scoffed at your sarcastic remarks before setting you down on the floor. You were in what looked like a medical bay or lab, humans in white coats rushing around everywhere with clipboards.
