Staring at him with nothing but rage, you felt like slapping him straight in the face. No WAY were you going to back to the human world with a human?! That's your worst nightmare summed up right there!
'What makes you so adamant there is human in me?!' You yelled.
'My doctors believe so, I mean if you were ALL elf, you would look like one but you don't' Jin said, walking ever so slowly towards you.
'You humans assume everything! Just because I'm not as short as the others elves or because I don't have weird pointy toes doesn't make me half an elf?!' You argued back.
He just chuckled and stood infront of you, his eyes focused on your face.
'If it wasn't against the invasion laws, I would still take you anyways even if you were fully elf' He spat.

'Why me though?! You know NOTHING about me! I-'
'Ah ah, that's where you're wrong, sugar' Jin interrupted, pointing his index finger up in your face.
You shoved his hand away and tilted your head off to the side in confusion, what plot twist was he gonna pull now? He walked off to his night stand and opened one of the creaking draws, pulling out a thick binder. Opening it up, Jin flicked through all the multiple pages and started reading aloud every single thing about your life, shocking you senseless.
'H-how did you get those? I only ever gave the men in silver one...' You spluttered, stumbling backwards.

He simply chuckled and threw the huge bundle of papers onto the bed.
'When I first saw you, I wanted to know everything about you, you stuck out from the rest of those creatures-'
'If anything, you humans are the creatures' You snapped back.
Glaring at you, Jin simply just sat down on the foot of his bed before continuing.
'So, after getting your file, I simply got my soldiers to ransack every other file on Mystica about you!' He sung, a smile spreading across his cheeks. 'Now, I have you here and hopefully going to the human world with me!'.
Speechless, you just stared at him with your jaw wide open, staring into his soul. Rolling his eyes, he just stood up and lifted your chin up with his finger, closing your mouth.

'Why would you even want me in the human world, what good would I do there?' You asked, turning around to face him as he walked around casually.
'Oh, my dear, I can't tell you that yet' Jin chuckled deeply, sorting out his ruffled sleeves.
'Come on, stop leaving me on these cliffhangers!' You pleaded.
'You will find out when the time comes, now, would you rather stay here or go home?' He groaned.
'HOME! PLEASE!' You cried, clasping your hands together in a praying like way.
'Alright, darling, come along' He said, walking you out the door.

You were released once again and ran straight home to tell your mother, even though she already knew.
'Mother! Now I know why the DNA test is so important!'  You screamed as you crashed through the door, scaring her little body straight.
'Oh my, Y/N! Don't scare me like that!'  She cried, clasping her hand over her heart.
'You knew all this time that Jin was probably going to take me home with him if I am even a tiniest bit human?!'  You cried, falling down onto the small wooden chair next to you.
She just sighed and looked up at you, a somber expression on her face.
'Honey, I just didn't want you to know, I didn't know how you were going to react'  She mumbled, staring down into her mug of peppermint tea.

Groaning, you got up and stormed over to the cauldron, lighting it underneath and letting the water inside of it simmer.
'Mother, please just answer me this, is there any kind of human genes in me at all?'  You sighed, nervously tapping your foot on the ground.
Taking a huge swig of her tea, she remained quiet, taking her sweet time to swallow it as she swished it around in her mouth.
'I don't know'  She replied monotonously.
You didn't even bother to show any reaction back, so you turned to the counter that you were pressed up against.
Grabbing a peppermint teabag, you plopped it into the bottom of the mug and ladled in the hot water, extinguishing the fire underneath the metal cauldron.

Your mother stared at you guiltily, not knowing what to say or do. You returned the favour and just didn't acknowledge her presence, stirring the hot drink slowly, prohibiting any kind of conversation. Throwing the metal spoon into the sink, you took a large sip of the tea. The atmosphere in the room was heavy and tense, you weren't even mad, just dissapointed at her secretive ways right now.
'I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, sweetheart-'
'What if they do take me away?'  You sighed, directing your speech down to the floor rather than at her.
She sat there, not responding, still being the worst help in the situation.
'There's not a lot I can do...'  She mumbled, tapping her mug with her fingernails.
'I'm just scared, mum'  You never called her mum, 'That something will happen'

Looking up at you, she got off the chair and hugged her small body onto your anxious one.
'I'll tell you this now, when you were born the doctors said absolutely nothing about human genes, they just told me you had a condition that made you grow abnormally larger than other elves'  She stated.
You looked at her with a smile, her words bringing you a great sense of comfort.
'You aren't lying?'  You asked.
She shook her head, her arms still wrapped around your lower body.
'Now go rest up, get ready for tomorrow, no matter what that DNA result says'  Your mother instructed, detaching from you.
'I will'  You mumbled, walking towards your bedroom.

As you got ready for the night, you couldn't take your mind off the DNA test. It was worrying you, the results got to you the most. What if they were positive? You would be taken away from home and to the human lands. Jin still hadn't even told you the proper reason, just soppy stuff like 'you stuck out' and stuff. Anyways, you snuggled up in your bed, hoping this wasn't going to be the last time you ever slept in it. But surely it won't be right? The doctors would've told your mother if somethinf was up, but they didn't, so you just relaxed into the warm comforter and shut your eyes.
