An hour later ~~~
There was a knock at the door but you remained on the bed, ignoring it, in a very deep state of meditation. You were finally calm for once, your breathing at a slow pace and your fingers positioned in 'ok' signs as your legs were crossed too. The door flung open but you kept your eyes shut tight, focusing rather on your meditation then who was barging into the room.
'What the...' Jin muttered, sighing as he spoke.
Suddenly, you felt his hand wrap around your wrist and he sharply dragged you off the bed.
'HEY!-'
'Would you quieten down? The people are downstairs' He groaned.
'You're telling me we couldn't have just met them ON LAND and it had to be on this airship?!' You snapped, tugging your arm out his hold.He just let out a frustrated exhale before positioning his sparkling crown straight, even though you could barely see it as it got submerged in his dark, fluffy locks.
'Sugar, you can ask me all these questions AFTER' Jin said, taking your hand and leading you out the door.
Without even time to react, you just complied with him and followed him down the stairs as he held strongly onto your hand. It felt like you hadn't been downstairs in decades, really just a few hours, as you finally reached the bottom floor. There were servants and maids everywhere, so many for a couple days on an airship. Jin led you over to a wide doorway, but stopped before you went inside.
'Best behaviour, remember doll?' He said, a smug look on his face.
'Whatever' You spat, folding your arms. With a sigh, he opened the large doors and there was a very long table, lavished with golden cutlery, plates, goblets, and trays with golden lids, probably with food just waiting underneath them. The seat at the top of the table was obviously reserved for Jin, after a servant pulled it out for him, he sat down on it and you watched on as a servant placed a red cloth across his lap. As you stood there with the top of your lip cringed and your arms tightly folded, a servant then did the same for you on the seat closest to Jin. Awkwardly, you slowly sat down and was about to tuck in the huge cushioned chair but the servant laid the same dark auburn cloth across your lap.
'What's this for?' You asked, picking it up and showing it to the servant.'You don't need to answer her' Jin interrupted, signalling for the man to simply walk away.
Annoyed, you just dropped it back onto your lap, confused by its purpose. Looking around the table, there were about 5 other people. 3 women and 2 men, all in suits and executive clothing which just looked really dumb to your elf eyes.
'I believe you all know what you're here for' Jin began as a waiter poured red wine into his golden goblet.
'Yes, your majesty' A woman with bright red lipstick answered.
The waiters rushed around the table, heaving huge bottles of wines and spirits as they poured them into each invididuals glasses, including yours.
'As you know, I have already sent you all my visions for it, it is your jobs to fulfill these and make any other improvements on them' Jin carried on, taking a sip of the strange drink.'I have my team already making the dress and other accessories for the bride' A man with square glasses piped in.
'Catering is being taken care of as well' Another guy with red curly hair added.
'The guest list, security and other professions are also in my hands, your majesty' A woman with a slicked back bun mentioned.
As they continued talking about this dumb wedding, which by the way you were not paying attention too, you picked up the shiny golden goblet. Swishing it gently around, you watched the red liquid inside bash against the sides. You had never seen it before, so of course you were skeptical to try it. You brought it up to your lips, the cold metal pressing onto your bottom lip as you slowly tipped it up, allowing the wine to touch your tongue.Immediately, you spat the red substance out, slamming the glass down and wiping your tongue, disgusted in literally every way possible.
'The fuck is that?!' You shouted, suddenly falling silent as Jin stared at you with a not-so impressed look on his face.
'Excuse her, she's not accustomed to the tastes of human wine yet' He smiled, trying to cover up his distasteful glance he was still darting at you.
You just awkwardly smiled and apologised for the inconvenience, tapping the plate infront of you nervously.
Is Jin gonna make me 'suffer the consequences' after that? You thought, scoffing. Then, the food came out, now this was gonna be a challenge. You had fortunately seen some of it back on Mystica, but not all. Infront of you, as well as the other diners, there was a steak placed onto the gleaming plate. Staring down at the huge thing, you watched as the others casually ate it whilst talking about the wedding.
'I trust you have the dress designs on you?' Jin muttered as he chewed his steak.
'Oh, yes!' The man with glasses said, taking his handkerchief and dabbing his lips with it. 'Would you like me to get them out?'
'YES, I want to see what you are dressing me up in!' You cried, suddenly joining in on the conversation.
Jin looked quite shocked at your sudden excitement, but let out a soft chuckle before gently nodding his head at the man.The guy hastily pulled some sheets of laminated paper out his blazer pocket, running out his seat to hand one to you and then Jin. Seeing it, you were actually impressed, it was really beautiful. It was obviously white to begin with. The top was off-the-shoulder with a lace and embroidered flower design and then at the bottom it was draping with white silk so it was just layered with these flowing bits of white material that trailed down to your ankles. There was a veil too, only a short one, but it was a black and white flower headband attached with the thin mesh material at the back, falling down onto your hair. The shoes were gorgeous too, small white chunky heels with lace bows around your ankles.
'It's actually gorgeous' You smiled, not being able to take your eyes off it.'I must say, it really is a great design for Y/N, and I trust the bouquet is being made?' Jin asked, still staring at the design too.
'Yes, and the other floral pieces too' The woman with lipstick confirmed.
'Hair and makeup too?' Jin said, handing the designs back to the glasses man.
'We are currently brainstorming designs, but when we are back on land, it will be easier to experiment with Y/N's hair there' A woman with freckles said.
'Perfect, well at least it's all starting to look clearer now' Jin said, turning his gaze to you.'Why aren't you eating, Y/N?' He asked, about to take a sip of the horrible red wine.
'Oh, I kind of forgot, but I'll eat now-'
'No, it's gonna be cold now, we will get you something else' He chuckled, after taking a huge swig of the wine.
The waiters came and took all the food away, bringing out some other stuff. There was a soup, so you grabbed your spoon and cautiously scooped up a tiny, tiny serving of it. When you tasted it, your eyes lit up and Jin was watching you with a smile.
'Mushroom soup?' He asked.
'YEAH! Wow, it tastes great! I didn't know you humans could make this stuff' You cried, throwing the spoon down and drinking it from the bowl instead.
