VII: Crashing Paradise

Third POV

The large polished marble kitchen at the Midoriya manor was in full use.

Contrary to rumors, Katsuki was an amazing chef.

Right when he got home he stripped out of his outfit, and into something a bit more relaxed, so he wouldn't have to worry about spills and messes.

With that he moved busily, cutting up carrots, dicing onions, creating a three-step battering process for the pork cutlets and ensuring the rice was soft and fluffy but not soggy.

As the stem of the officially made rice puffed up, he picked up his phone, reading the time that said 5:30.

"Record time." Katsuki grinned to himself, knowing he could be a bit of a perfectionist at times.

Now all he needed to do was confirm with Izuku as to what time he'd be coming.

Surprisingly, the Prime alpha hadn't texted as much as he usually did throughout the day, but he did say work was a bit hectic.

And Katsuki supposed it gave him enough time to focus on the meal he had prepped.

He scrolled through his phone, pressing on speed dial before landing on Izuku's number.

He pressed it to his ear, a hopeful look on his face as it rang only once before it went straight to voicemail.

His face dropped just a tad bit before it picked up again.

There was a logical explanation for this as well.

Work was hectic.

That's it.

Probably another mission run or something, knowing that Izuku never failed to pick up no matter what kind of meeting he was in.

Katsuki shrugged it off, picking up the dishes made and placing them under the warmer lights by the stove, choosing to head upstairs and go get ready.

He headed upstairs, performing his everything shower, underneath the ever so comforting steam. Soap suds slipped and caressed his body before heading into his rinse.

Outside the shower, he blow dried his hair and did it up nicely, not being able to laugh at himself as he knew for the past years when he did this Izuku would mess up his hair anyways when they were in bed.

Putting that thought aside, he spritzed himself in a sparkly body mist, doing simple touchups before taking a momentary pause in the mirror.

The rest of his face looked fine...

Although his eye bags were becoming prominent.

He soured his face before relaxing, rubbing the moisturized in, before walking around to the other side of his dual vanity and going into the first drawer.

There he pulled out a small makeup brush, then dipping over to the first right side drawer and pulling out concealer.

Leaning forward into the mirror he worked ever so gently to cover it up, spending extra time to hope it looked somewhat natural to Izuku.
