Third POV

*Flashback*

Sero scurried with a cart full of food for Todoroki in his office.

Seeing as how the other alpha was always so busy with work, he'd bring it home with him and the two of them would eat in his office together.

It's not much, but a thoughtful gesture.

"Japanese beef curry is served!" Sero's voice chimed, looking at his boyfriend ever so lovingly.

He placed the aromatic curry onto Todoroki's desk, leaning in for a quick kiss before taking a seat on one of the other couches.

"So," Sero started, waiting for his food to cool slightly, "How goes it at work? With Midoriya and Kirishima..?"

Todoroki tilted his head, picking up the glass of Chardonnay and swirling it slightly.

"It goes fine," Todoroki hummed, "And with Bakugo and Kaminari?"

"Likewise," Sero answered, looking a way for a moment when Todoroki pointed it out.

"Is something bothering you? You aren't smiling as much."

Sero shook his head, pushing around the rice, "Kaminari is fine, however it's Bakugo,"

"Be honest, is there something going on with Midoriya at work? Apparently he's way too deep into his work and said that there was money issues, but keeps dodging questions."

"If there is problems that also somehow include us, I'd like you to be straightforward with me." Sero pushed, not sure how his typically stoic boyfriend would react.

Todoroki sighed, turning off the monitor to his computer and going to sit next to Sero, "Honestly, there isn't really a problem."

"It's the biggest shipping season and yet we were being fleeced so naturally we checked our options and there's a family we're investigating."

He grabbed his phone and started tapping, as if he was looking for something, "They sent out a marriage proposal to Midoriya, and so our plan revolves around him treating the family's daughter around as means of a distraction while Kirishima and I do the dirty work."

Todoroki then turned over his phone to reveal the woman, allowing Sero to get a better look.

"Now, I wasn't keen on telling you because I understand you are good friends with Bakugo and don't want to hurt him, however it's necessary that this is kept from him to ensure things aren't taken the wrong way."

"You want me to be blissfully ignorant then, don't you?" Sero bluntly stated, feeling his heart ache for his friend.

"Technically speaking, from this point on you'll ensure Bakugo doesn't try too much to look into things, and seeing as how his anniversary is coming up you should encourage him to focus on that than anything else." Todoroki nodded along, making so-so hands,
