i promise that i'll marry you someday,
she said

and now i'm standing in the crowd looking at you,
and time seems to slow down for a moment
as i let myself dive deep into your gleaming eyes
and your sweet smile that i allow my heart to surrender to

as you look at someone else
and say the words

i do.
