The moment we walked through the door, I took a deep breath and smiled, scenting the familiar home-smell of Casey's mansion. Clean and warm.

"Put your bag upstairs and come to the living room."

He barely looked at me before walking through to the kitchen. I stood for a moment, anxiety and disappointment creeping through my chest. A small shiver made my skin tingle.

No. Not today.

I do as I was told and put my bag in my room and took a minute to run my hand over the collection of books I had left on the nightstand. I sigh, heading down to the living room and stand behind the couch. He'd yet to show up.

"Sit."

I turn and Casey brushes past me with a glass in his hand. He sits down and I sit a comfortable distance from him. Frost was replacing the blood in my chest.

He didn't say anything for a few minutes as we sat there and I focused on taking deep breaths and not fidgeting. What could I have gotten in trouble for?

"I'm going to ask you this once and I want you to be honest with me." He doesn't even look up as he talks.

"Yes, Sir."

He doesn't correct me and the frost creeps down to my stomach and over my back.

"Did you sleep with him?"

My breath catches and I'm at a loss for words. I repeat the question in my head before answering.

"We didn't have sex," I swallow thickly. "But I did service him and he-he pleasured me as a reward when I did good one time."

Casey nodded, tilting his glass back and forth. I fisted my hands to keep from shaking, the second shiver running down my spine.

"Am... am I in trouble, Sir?" My voice wavered and I clenched my jaw.

His head whipped up and he looked at me, eyes hard. When he saw my face his expression softened and he set his glass down to take my hands in his.

"No, honey, you're not. I'm sorry." He pulls me into a hug and I suppress a sob of relief, the ice melting away. "I'm sorry."

I shake my head and hold him tightly. He keeps his arms wrapped around me until I breathe normally and pull back slightly. I thank him and he wipes a tear from my cheek.

"There is something I need to talk with you about though. That I should have talked to you about already." He pauses and grabs the glass again. "I have hidden quite a few things from, well, a lot of people. For a number of years now. But I feel it's only right that if I'm asking you to be apart of my life that you know the truth and know what you're getting into."

He pauses and the ice in his glass makes a tinkling noise as his hands shake. I grab his hand, tilting my head, and he smiles softly.

"I just... I don't want this to change anything but I know it will. But I owe you an explanation why I haven't, you know." He gestures awkwardly. "Why we haven't done anything."

"A Dom doesn't owe his sub an explanation. We're here to make your life easier, to please you."

His eyes turn hard and he grips my hand tightly. "That's not true, and I never want to hear that from you ever again. Is that understood?"

I swallow at the commanding tone. "Yes, Sir."

"Good." He takes a deep breath and sets the glass down again to take both of my hands in his. "I'm going to share this and-and if you want to end the contract I won't stop you, okay? You have the right to ask to go back to Mr. Morikawa."
