The rest of the week passed by, and Casey made sure to stop by in the evenings to have dinner with us.
But today it was over, and Kentaro was taking me back to the House today. I was going to finally belong to someone permanently.
I massage my cheeks as I make my way to the front door, aching from how much I'd been smiling. Kentaro is already waiting, looking stunning in what he's wearing, as always.
"Ready to go, pet?" He kisses my forehead. "Casey said he'll meet us after."
"Where are we going after?" I frown, he hadn't said anything about after. Should I change?
He nudges me out of the front door. "Don't worry about it."
I squint at him but that's the extent I'm willing to push it today. He smirks and pushes me towards the car. I happily wait by the door as he takes his time walking to me, eyes only on me.
He opens the door and I tilt my head up for a kiss before climbing in. I relish in the freedom to ask for affection and be able to receive it.
He climbs in and hands me his phone once the car is started, letting me scroll through his music. I was still learning most of his music taste, but usually found a couple songs I really loved.
He never really sings as we drive, but today he's humming along and his fingers tap the steering wheel. He's in a very good mood today.
We pull into the drive of the House and a new security guard is standing at the front, staring down the car as we approach. He's much more intimidating than the last guy who had his position.
We step out and he looks Kentaro up and down, most likely assessing how much of a threat he is. "ID and purpose?" He demands.
Kentaro scoffs quietly but pulls out his ID and hands it to the guard. "I'm here to finalize my contract for River with the Madam."
He hands back the card without a word and knocks on the door. A familiar face pops around the door as it opens, and Miriam grins as she spots me. She throws open the door and runs down the few stairs and we embrace each other in a crushing hug.
"Oh I've missed you so much. I know it's only been a month, but so much has changed. Zach is gone, but Lizi, Bambi, and Libby are all back! We have another addition being added in a couple months on the east wing and you met Diggy here." She rambled, and I just squeeze her in another hug. I missed her and her rambling.
"I'm only back for a little bit, Meer." I rub her arms as she takes a step back, noticing Kentaro next to me.
"Hello, Sir." She looks down. "I apologize."
"Hello, Miriam. Is the Madam ready for us?" He asks, patient and kind. He honestly looked a little sad for Miriam.
"Yes, Sir. Follow me please."
Miriam was right, even though it had only been a month, it felt like I'd been gone for ages. The smell of the House almost felt nostalgic now, like it wasn't home anymore.
She leads us to the office and a few familiar faces poke around corners or give side glances as we pass the sitting room. I didn't wave, but I did smile when we made eye contact.
Miriam knocks on the office door and I can hear Madam on the other side call us in. I take a deep breath and follow behind the other two.
"Ah, Mr. Morikawa. How nice to see you again." She smiled, seated at her desk. She didn't look inclined to stand up or even offer to shake his hand. A mean power play.
"Miss Bonchet." He returns, seating me first in a chair, then himself.
Knowing her, she didn't miss a millisecond of it. What was she doing?
"I see Mr. Harrin opted not to join us, so it will be just us." She clears her throat and looks down at the paper in front of her. "You're here to return him, I assume?"
"No."
She looks at him over her glasses and then at me, and back to him. Then she takes off her glasses and slides them on her head to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"Well you can't really mean to keep him, do you? He's been returned so many times, his rate and value has gone down significantly."
Neither of us knew how to respond to that. Kentaro was staring at her, the picture of composure, except for the grip he hand on the armrest of the chair.
"I value him all the same, what others think of him has nothing to do with me. It's in my contract with you that if I so choose, at the end of our rental period, his registration is transferred into my name." I watch the two of them glare at each other, and Madam Bailey leans back into her chair.
She taps the table, thinking. The look she wore reminded me of when others would get in trouble and she was thinking of the worst way to punish them.
"Right now he's registered under my license so I will do with him as I see fit. River, go upstairs. We'll discuss this Dom to Dom."
I look at her and back to Kentaro, conflicted. Who do I listen to?
"It's alright, pet." Kentaro takes my hand in his. He turns back to Madam Bailey, calm as can be. "I should've been more clear. River will be coming with me, whether you like it or not. He's already in the process of being transferred to my license. This was just a courtesy."
Her hands slap against the wood of the desk as she shoot up. "You can't do this! He's the only one I can get to go to the Blacklisted."
The moment the words were out of her mouth, she went as white as a sheet and froze. She'd fucked up big time now, admitting by that. The Blacklisted were Doms that got their license permanently revoked because they were negligent or abusive to their subs or rentals and were typically excessively aggressive with their preferences. Subs weren't allowed anywhere near them.
Kentaro stands up, staring her down. "You sent a young sub to be used by the Blacklisted and expect not to have consequences?"
He pulls on my hand and I follow him out of the room. Madam Bailey doesn't call out or cry, but when I look back, she has her head in her hands.
He pulls out his phone and pulls up a number he calls before we're five feet out the door. He pauses in the hallway and I stand next to him quietly, still a little unsure what was happening. Sure, I had gone to a few rougher Doms, but most of them were like that once they wanted me to service them.
"Hey, yeah, can you get two squads out to the House here on Wilken? I'll text you the address, we got a Madam doing Blacklisteds and possibly need to move these subs to new Houses."
He hums in confirmation before hanging up and sends the text as promised. He takes a deep breath before turning his attention back to me.
"Let's go, no need to wait around. I'll give them the details later, but we're late to meet Casey."
I nod, watching as Miriam slips into the office to check on Madam Bailey. I wasn't the only one she'd sent, Miriam had gone just as many times, if not more.
I didn't have time to stew on it, Kentaro was guiding me out of the building. We passed by Diggy, who was on the phone, looking confused and pissed. He hangs up as Kentaro opens my door and I watch him storm into the building, pulling out a pair of handcuffs.
"It's okay, River. You're safe." Kentaro gently pushes me into the car, closing the door, and walks around the slide in.
I watch the door, expecting to see my friends running out screaming. "Are they going to be okay?"
Kentaro grabs my hand, bringing it to place a soft kiss on my fingers. A shudder runs through my chest, and he nips my fingers to get my attention. I turn to him and he brushes my hair from my face. The tenderness brought tears to my eyes.
"We'll make sure they're okay, baby. I promise."
