As I stood beside Avalor, the pack's tension hung thick in the air, palpable and electric. Phoenix's challenge echoed through the clearing, her words laced with defiance. It was clear she had no intention of relinquishing her position as beta without a fight. A wolf with such determination, she could be a problem. Avalor's response, veiled in charm and diplomacy, barely masked the undercurrent of deceit that flowed beneath his words. He was an alpha who wore a mask of authority but harbored a deeper ambition. I had been brought into this pack as a pawn in his game, a means to an end. Phoenix was the obstacle in his path, and I was the tool he intended to use to remove her. Phoenix's growls and accusations filled the air as she circled Avalor, her words carrying a dangerous edge. She whispered something into his ear, her words hidden from my hearing but not from my understanding. The message was clear: she was not to be underestimated, and her wolf was eager for a confrontation.I observed Avalor's reaction, the color draining from his face as he processed Phoenix's threat. It amused me, the way he had miscalculated her resolve. But I knew better than to underestimate Phoenix as well. She was fierce and determined, and I had a feeling our paths would cross in a clash of wills.

For now, I remained silent, my allegiance pledged to Avalor but my true intentions hidden from all. The game had begun, and I was prepared to play my part. The Flame'song pack was in for a turbulent journey, and I intended to navigate it with care, seizing every opportunity that arose in the shadows of this pack's hidden secrets, I have a feeling one of them rests with Phoenix herself.
