Mist covers the ocean. An old, abandoned, and destroyed city barely sits above the water as Siren ships surround its perimeter. In the sky, 'Zeroes' fly around looking for the Royal Navy maids. From the safety within a building, Sheffield watches the planes fly by as she lets out a sigh. She peaks her head from behind her cover and spots Sakura Empire ships with the Sirens.

"Battleship Yamashiro"
The battleship girl, Yamashiro hangs off the side of the radar tower on her battleship, looking over the island. She loses her grip and slips down the tower as she lands on a platform.
Yamashiro: Ouch...
Back in the city, Sheffield moves through the rubble as the planes still fly overhead. With Zuikaku, her eyes are closed as two flaming petals float by her. Off to her side, her sister Shoukaku stands. Takao and Ayanami stare out over the city, waiting for something to happen as a shipgirl who is yet to be named sits on the edge of the ship.
An overhead view of the sunken city island is shown as it is completely surrounded by Siren ships. Within a building, the Mental Cube sits on a table as Akashi pokes it.
Akashi: Hmm.... This is a mystery.
Edinburgh: Are you sure you have no idea? This is Sakura Empire's secret weapon, right?
Akashi: I'm just a repair ship. I don't know any details about this...
She turned back to the cube and had a flashback about the incident in the cave. Her knees then began to shake.
Akashi: Who would've thought they got it secretly from the Sirens... This must be some seriously bad stuff. I'm scared...
Akashi covered her face with her droopy dress. Edinburgh just watched her as Sheffield jumped in through a destroyed window.
Sheffield: I have returned.
Edinburgh: Welcome back. How was it?
Sheffield: Scout planes are patrolling. They have clearly figured out that we are hiding on this island.
Edinburgh and Akashi freaked out.
Edinburgh: What should we do?
Sheffield: The base knows out situation. We should wait for rescue. That said, I doubt that the Sakura Empire would sit idly by.
