Spartan: What is war? Is it where the young and naive fight for the old and bitter? Perhaps it is for glory and fame? Or maybe... Just maybe... War is all of these things. But there is one constant, war is the same and always will be. The times may change and so may the technology and the tactics, but... it is still the same premise. After all... It is why we are here. Azur Lane, once a divided group of camps, are now whole once more. But, with our newly formed alliance, new challenges are to come. To those challenges, I say, bring it on. We are here, and we are ready. We are Azur Lane, and we are humanity's hope!

On the cliffs of the Azur Lane base, Y/n and Enterprise sit side by side. Both of them were just enjoying the view as Strafe and Grim flew in the air.

Y/n: You know... I'm glad that the war is over.

Enterprise: I can say the same.

Y/n side eyed Enterprise and slowly looked at her. She caught him looking at her and he instantly looked away. She giggled at him as she put a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Enterprise: Is there something you would like to say?

Y/n: Nah. Just enjoying the view.

Belfast: I do hope I'm not intruding.

Y/n and Enterprise looked over their shoulder to see Belfast standing there. She bowed in respect to the both of them.

Enterprise: You're not intruding, Belfast. Right, Y/n?

Y/n: No. Not at all.

Belfast: That is a relief. The others would like to talk with you, Enterprise.

Enterprise got up as did Y/n. They both began to walk off towards the main building as Belfast followed after them. Just as they were walking down the hill, Delta spoke up.

Delta: Y/n, you are receiving a call. Would you like me to answer it for you?

Y/n: Go ahead.

???: Spartan, is that you?

Y/n stopped walking and froze up. This caught Belfast's and Enterprise's attention as they looked at him. Before anything could be said, Spartan signaled them to keep moving, in which they seemed uncertain of what was happening, but ultimately decided to just go on without him.

???: Are you there Spartan?

Spartan: Yes Commander Jones, Sir. I'm here.

Cdr. Jones: It's good to hear your voice, kid. Tell me, how are things going with the base?

Spartan: The base is in top conditions, Sir.

Cdr. Jones: That's good! Tell me, is it true that Sakura Empire and Iron Blood ships are residing on base?

Spartan: That would be true, Sir.

The Commander chuckled as Spartan stood on the hillside.

Spartan: ...Sir...?

The Commander stopper his chuckling as he cleared his throat.

Cdr. Jones: Yes Spartan?

Spartan: Are there any other reasons you called, Sir? Or are you just checking up on how things are going?

Cdr. Jones: Always down to the point, eh? Well, you got me. I called to tell you that I'm coming to the base!

Spartan: Huh...?
