We start off with the sky littered with thousand of stars. Is this the nighttime sky of the Azur Lane or Sakura Empire base? Nope! Currently, Enterprise is in her own head as she looks up at the sky. A scene flashes before her of ships on fire and sinking.
Enterprise: This scene again.
She looks to her left and spots the person appearing in her dreams, putting down the body of a dead Siren on a pile of Siren corpses.
Enterprise: What are you? What are you trying to accomplish by showing me this?
???: War...
Her war torn self turns around to face her with a hardened glare as our Enterprise glared back at her.
???: I repeat. Across time, over every ocean, I continue to fight. Endless war.
Her eyes glow red as she holds up a black Mental Cube in her hand.
???: This ocean engulfed in flame... is my true, crimson lane. For you soon as well...
The cube flashes white as Enterprise's vision is overwhelmed by it.
Back in the real world, Belfast opens the curtains as Enterprise's eyes quickly open. Belfast walks over to the side of her bed.
Belfast: Good morning. Have you slept well?
Enterprise: Belfast...
As of right now, Belfast stands at the top of the stairs of the Azur Lane dormitory as Enterprise walks off.
Belfast: It is time for breakfast.
Enterprise: I don't need any.
Belfast: I insist. In order to lead a healthy human life, breakfast is mandatory.
Enterprise: Stop.
Belfast's eyes widened.
Enterprise: I would look like a fool pretending to be human.
Belfast looked at Enterprise with worry as Enterprise walked off.
Meanwhile at the main building, Cleveland and Prince of Wales walk through the halls.
PoW: The Sakura Empire has lost some of its strength. It should take them some time to recover. Unfortunately, we aren't ready to pounce on the opportunity either.
Cleveland: The black Mental Cube, right? And Enterprise, too.
PoW: There are a mountain of issues.
Inside of a classroom, Hornet, Belfast, Akashi, Spartan and two other shipgirls are standing around a podium. On the podium, is the black Mental Cube and its casing.
