Flashback
Ayanami jumped off a chunk of ice.
Ayanami(thoughts): I don't know what I should do. But!
She sliced through the side of the dive bomber.
Ayanami: This is wrong! I don't like this!
The plane exploded as she fell from the sky. The rift opened underneath her as Spartan jumped off the ice shelf. He grabbed her hand and pulled her close as the flashback fades to white.
Flashback end
Ayanami opens her eyes as she lays on a bed. She sits up as she has some bandages covering her arm and around the top of her head. She looks down and sees the bandages covering her arms and hands as she looks around the room and then put a window. They sky is a bright blue with clouds dotting it.
???: Don't even think about escaping.
Ayanami looked at who spoke as she gasped in surprise.
"Aircraft Carrier Ark Royal"
Ark Royal: We've got an eye on you. But it's not like we're trying to eat you alive or anything.
Ayanami: Is this the Azur Lane base?
Ark Royal: You know a lot, as expected. You did your research. After the battle...
She picked up an apple from her bag and tossed it to Ayanami, who caught it with ease.
Ark Royal: ...you were unconscious and we picked you up. Officially, you're a prisoner of war. Funny thing is, Spartan and the other two convinced us to let you stay here.
Ayanami looked at her apple in thought and saw then spoke.
Ayanami: What about those two? How are they?
Ark Royal: Worried about them, are you?
Ayanami looked at the apple as her reflection from said apple, looked back at her.
The main headquarters of the Azur Lane base is seen.Cleveland: Seriously, that was really reckless of all three of you.
Javelin, Laffey, and Spartan are seen standing in front of Hornet, Cleveland, and other shipgirls.
Hornet: A thoughtless charge, in order to save an enemy. I have to say, it's not something we'd give out medals for.
