Snow falls from the sky as the Azur Lane fleet are in a frozen landscape. Glaciers are present as the shipgirls tend to each other.
London: Yes. When the special combat zone collapsed earlier, it seems to have also caused the rest of the nearby area to become unstable as well.
Hood: Is this all done by the Sirens?
PoW: The Sakura Empire's "Project Orochi" and that mysterious event caused by Enterprise... I cannot help but feel that they are related in some way.
QE: In order to thwart whatever it is the Sirens are plotting... We can't let the Sakura Empire escape.
Warspite: Do we know where Spartan is?
PoW: No... The last I saw of him was just before he raced off to Enterprise. But that begs the question...
Hood: Was that Spartan? It looked like him. Yet it sounded nothing like him. It sounded more...
QE: Evil...
She watched a rift in the sky as the void was on the other side of it.
Cleveland and her sisters along with Helena, San Diego, Hammann, and Hornet herself were standing on her aircraft carrier.
Columbia: Big sis... What's going on?
Cleveland: How would I know...?
Hornet: What are you doing... Big sis?
Another rift was open in the ice as a Siren ship fell into the frigid depths. Belfast was standing on the frozen ocean as she looked up at three rifts in the sky.
Belfast: Enterprise...
Javelin and Laffey were detached from the main fleet. They sailed through the frozen sea, trying to find their way back. Laffey sneezed from the frigid temperatures.Laffey: Cold.
Javelin: We got separated from the others... We have to regroup with the fleet, soon.
Ahead of them, a cloud of snow held the form of someone inside it. Both shipgirls stopped and waited for the cloud to disappear. Once it did, the figure was none other than Ayananmi.
Javelin: Oh... Ayanami.
A tense standoff occurred between between the Sakura ship and Union ships.
Enterprise(voiceover): The world used to be a simple place. Fighting was the reason we existed, our enemies were invaders from the outside. In addition, humanity was backed into a corner. It was a tough world to live in, but there was no doubt in our fighting. To fight. To protect. Those two things were one and the same, no contradictions. But...
Back with the standoff, Ayanami was ready to fight with her riggings pointed at the Azur Lane duo. Laffey sneezed as Javelin looked at her.
Ayaynami: This again...
Javelin and Laffey looked at her.
Ayanami: Why won't you fight?! What are you thinking?!
Laffey: We told you before. We want to be friends with you.
Javelin: That's right! We want to be friends with you, Ayanami––
Ayanami: We're enemies! What are you talking about?!
Laffey: It doesn't matter.
Ayanami: It does matter! We are warships... Fighting the enemy is natural!
