"What are you doing here?"

Chan's friends froze as they heard Byeol's voice, although they couldn't really pinpoint where it came from considering how it echoed everywhere. They looked at each other with wide eyes as they whispered,

"Did Chan not tell her?!"

"Do I just say he invited us for New Years?"

"Why didn't Chan tell her?!"

"Yall are such scaredy cats."

"Shut up, Seungcheol. You are one too." Byeol rolled her eyes, appearing from behind the hallway that leads to their library. Her hair was in a clawclip, and her glasses were sitting neatly on the bridge of her nose. Seungcheol approached her and peaked in the hall to the library. He noticed a lamp light open, a distant sound of a door closing in the background.

"Studying on New Years Eve? Really?"

"Exam week is in a while-"

"In one and a half months. Join us, you won't be able to focus anyway with how loud the playstation's gonna be."

Byeol sighed, cleaning up her stuff and turning the lamp light off in the library. She stood at the side, near the counter, not wanting to engage in whatever game they were playing. She never liked video games, and she never had time for them either.

The boys saw Chan running down the stairs and jumping in front of the screen, grinning at the matching pajamas they were all wearing. Byeol's expression deepened, and she froze, realizing something. She groaned loudly.

"Noona, look! You're matching with all of us, too!" Chan beemed, his friends mirroring him. That was when Byeol finally took the time to observe what they were wearing, cringing at the familiar black and gold glitter-polka-dot pajamas that Chan forced her to wear an hour ago, although this time, it was also worn by his friends. "And why drag me in?"

She whined, crossing her arms. They all looked at Seungcheol, who was the bearer of the magnificent idea. "Because that's my job."
