"Bye bye~"

Chan waved at his sister, as she made her way into her car. He went to his friends, swinging his arm around two of them.

Byeol started the engine, then drove out of the school parking lot. Chan wanted to hang out with Seungcheol and their friends at their mansion, while Byeol had to go to the bookshop to buy the newest book of a series she has been reading for a while.

"Bookworm's Utopia." Byeol read out, stepping out of her car. She spun her keys in her finger, as she pushed the door open, the bells jingling. She bowed at the cashier politely, before searching around for signs labeled either 'Fantasy' or 'New Releases'.

"Hyunjin, look!"

Byeol froze at this, not because of the female's voice, but because of the name. Hyunjin...

"Sure!"

There was no denying that that was his voice. Byeol peeked through an empty spot in the middle row of the bookshelves, and her brows rose. There he was, clad with an expensive cardigan and white scarf, smiling at a girl Byeol has never seen before. She looked away and tried to brush off the anger creeping up at the sight of him as she walked to the new releases section, grabbing the book.

Byeol gave it to the cashier, almost dropping her black card. The cashier noticed her clammy hands and the way her eyelids kept blinking. She leaned forward and nodded towards where Hyunjin was standing, whispering to Byeol, "Is that your ex boyfriend?"

Byeol was a bit taken aback, but answered nevertheless, "Maybe- can you hurry up a bit I'm in a rush."

The cashier nodded understandingly, and gave the black card and light green paper bag to Byeol, who bowed instantly and turned around only to bump into someone. "Sorr-"

"Lee Byeol. Nice to see you. "

It was Hyunjin. Run.

Byeol gently pushed him away, took one last glance at the girl, and exited the bookshop. She scoffed as she entered her Bugatti, speeding away from the place.
