"Do you like Byeol?"
Seungcheol threw him a disgusted look, slapping the back of his head. "T-that's like liking a- a sister! Hell nah!"
"Okay..." Jeonghan looked down, aw...
A few days have passed ever since Byeol got back from surgery. Unfortunately, she was still bedridden, which meant she was unable to go to college and catch up on things.
It was currently Tuesday afternoon, and visiting hours had just started. Byeol wasn't expecting visitors nor wanted anyone to visit her since she wanted to sleep her pain away, but she was quickly disappointed when the sliding door opened and in came the whole Shining Diamonds basketball team.
What the actual f*ck...
Byeol was rather confused considering she wasn't that close with her teammates personally. Sure, she would talk to them as a team and make occasional jokes, but that was only during training hours. Outside of the gym, it was as if they were like any other student passing her. She sighed, and figured that visiting her was probably just out of respect.
"Hello, coach." Byeol said, her tone sounding a bit unsure. She waited for them to settle down in the room as she fixed her posture on the bed. In their hands were several plastic bags visibly filled with mainly fried chicken, and she tilted her head. "Byeol, we bought you fried chi-"
"I-I'm not allowed to eat that. The doctor said I have to follow a diet since I just had surgery." She interrupted her teammate. The girl hungrily eyed the fried chicken as she annoyedly gripped her bedsheets, but she wasn't gonna let chicken win her over.
Another teammate's eyes brightened, and she peeked from behind the tall men. "So you don't mind if we eat this... infront of you, right?" The younger girl said, a hopeful smile on her face.
"Yeah I don't mind." Byeol's eye twitched as her thumb dug into the palm of her other hand. The team suddenly cheered, as if they were secretly hoping that she was on a diet and couldn't eat the fried chicken, digging into the boxes of food.
Byeol slumped on the bed, a slight frown on her face.
Jeonghan tried to hide his smile as he glanced to the right to see Byeol's reaction, only to make eye contact with her. He suddenly remembered their almost-kiss from the party, and he quickly looked away. This is the second time he has seen her ever since that happened, but this time, she wasn't unconscious and bleeding. He let out an awkward cough and took a small chicken wing from one of the boxes.
