~Y/N's Pov~

Only with a few tricks up my sleeve, and a bit of persuading, I got Griffin to give up his friend and admit to the helping of the murder.
Maverick Blaine, the real murderer of Anton Dreykov. Before sending Griffin officially to jail, I did more research about this Maverick Blaine guy. He works at a chop shop downtown, a shop that breaks down stolen vehicles and sells their parts. Previous cases I worked on involved chop shops, and I can confirm it's not safe. There's always a group of criminals working there, with one of them being the leader. In this case, Maverick is their leader. By Griffin's words, he also worked at the chop shop, under Maverick's control, and that's how the both of them came to a conclusion to kill Anton Dreykov.

Anton Dreykov didn't work at the chop shop, so not even Griffin knew the guy before they killed Mr. Dreykov. Anton had to owe Maverick money, but never gave it to him. So, Maverick forced Griffin to help him murder Anton for revenge.

It all makes sense now.

"I'm coming with!"

For the past few minutes Andrew's been nagging me to take him with on this deadly mission to capture Maverick.
We're currently walking down to the underground parking lot after the end of work. Well, at least, his shift ended. I'm not done with my job yet.
I place my bags in the backseats of my car before climbing into the front seat. I roll down my window, now seeing a very certain angry Andrew next to my car.

I sigh, "Andrew, this is my case, not yours."

"It's not your case though. Agreeing to some deal with boss doesn't make it your case again." He calms down, taking a deep breath in, "Y/N, please. You'll get hurt."

"I've been shot a few days ago, I think I can handle it."

"You don't even know how many guys there'll be! Hell, it could be hundreds of men waiting to kill you."

"Well, I wouldn't know unless I go see it for myself."

That's all I said before rolling up my window again, hearing Andrew's muffled words outside. As I start the engine, he gave up, stepping away so that I can drive off.

I sped down the road, staring down at my GPS. Now that I have Maverick's work location, I can probably just go and arrest him. Although, I don't think it's going to be that easy. I agree with Andrew, I don't know how many armed guys there are. I also don't know what will happen, I don't know if they're so dangerous, but usually chop shop workers are. But, I do know Maverick is dangerous, after all, he's the one I'm after for. Luckily, I got my handcuffs and my gun with me, so if he doesn't surrender, I'm prepared to fight.

The houses and huge city buildings started disappearing from my sight, so I knew I was getting closer to the factory industries down town- where the chop shop is located. All around these streets are shady people in hoodies, people running around. Overall, on this parts of down town, it's not a place a woman wants to hang around.

I finally went down a broken road where my GPS suddenly showed I arrived at my destination. This place is huge. It's a huge broken down, brick building. It looks like a gigantic brick block with a few rusty garage doors. The place I parked looks secluded, a big open space of gravel right next to the chop shop. No people around.
