~Y/N's Pov~

I stare at myself in the mirror, running my hands along my tight black dress that gets my curves perfectly. I've matched my dress with a pair of black, high heels, and a dab of makeup. Just for more warmth, I decided to go with a leather jacket over the dress.
After a long day of work once again, I finally get the chance to go out. Even though I don't like my date in a romantic way, I didn't want to crush his feelings by saying no. Although, he did say it's just for celebration. The downfall is, I can't help Natasha plan the wedding today, but tomorrow is a new chance. I'm sure she'll understand.
I also texted Andrew, like he asked me to do, where Zayne's taking me. It's a fancy restaurant with an European name that I can't even pronounce. Just from the name, I can tell it's going to be a great experience.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I quickly swing my purse over my shoulder as I stroll towards the door.

I was greeted by a friendly smile from Zayne. His eyes scanned me up and down multiple times.
He's wearing a white shirt with a black tie surrounding his collar. His pants, and suit over his shirt is a deep shade of dark blue which really is a beautiful color. He also has a golden watch on his left wrist.

He finally speaks, "Woah, you look absolutely stunning"

I look down, giggling. "Thank you. You look very handsome." I mean, I might not be into him, but he really does look good.

He smiles before stepping froward, holding out his hand for me. "Shall we?"

-

"No way!" I laugh.

I might have underestimated this guy. Zayne is actually so fun to be around, fun to talk to. He has these crazy stories that he tells me, making me laugh. It's real funny stories that happened to him when he worked at his previous job as a police man. I mean, going from a rookie police man to an agent is a big step. He is new in our organization, but I can already tell he's a great fit. Afterall, John did give my previous case to him and there's a reason why he did. I now know why. Zayne is so professional, a humanitarian. He sees between the lines, always getting the smallest details. Only from these minutes, that feels like hours talking, he already know so much about me. It's like he's mentally taking notes, so he's a great listener too.

There's just one tiny problem. Earlier when we ordered our food, he stopped me mid-way as I was telling the waiter my order. He smirked at me and told the waiter that I wanted red whine and the chicken ravioli.
First of all, you never ever order something for your date of your own choice, let them decide on food, on their own. Second, how the hell did he know that's my regular order at restaurants?
Despite that being a problem, I still ate the food and continued having a good time.

He laughs too, before again, checking his watch. The third weird thing is, he's been checking his watch quite frequently. Maybe he has somewhere else to be after we're done here.

I clear my throat, "So, why'd you decide to work at the SPO?"

Secret Police Organization. You first start off as a rookie, get a police rank. Eventually, over years, you are given multiple choices. It's called sections. You can rather join the police K-9 unit section, work with a specific emergency section, like murders, suicide teams, police who helps on the roads. Also the tech-team section, who has great computer skills. Andrew's on that side. Police who works night shift sections. Then you get the more experienced ranks, like detectives, agents and those who did exams to become FBI agents. We all had to do loads of exams over the years to get here.
