~Y/N's Pov~

I open my eyes slowly as I hear a soft voice from behind me. The voice grew louder and clearer, repeating my name. Pulling my head up from my arms, I yawn and stretch my arms over my head, still a bit disoriented. Once I got my foggy sleepy eyes away, I jump in the seat as I realize where I am. I swiftly rush up from the chair, making it fall behind me as I stand up in a hurry. What the hell am I doing here? Confused and a bit startled, I stand awkwardly as I scan the same exact room Natasha and I worked in yesterday. Then, my eyes met Natasha's - her standing where I heard the voice that called my name. A small smirk crossed her lips, finding it a bit intriguing to see me being this awkward. All I could do is gulp, the room silent. Her mouth opened to speak, but I beat her to it.

I speak fast, a bit concerned, "What happened- what did we do?"

She folds her arms, and cocks back her one eyebrow. "Nothing happened, you fell asleep."

I run my hands through my hair, sighing. Relaxing my tensed body, I close my eyes quickly. "I really need a drink" I muttered to myself. Though, Natasha heard.

She replied sternly, "Right, let's go then."

"Wait, what?"

Curious, I follow behind Natasha through her gigantic house. As I tried getting answers what's happening, she just told me to continue following her while she gets her car keys.
Once she opened the front door, I wasn't prepared for the sky to be so bright. Wincing, I covered my eyes with my hands. I didn't expect the sun to be out yet, the last time I checked the clock on her desk, it showed 1 in the morning. I must've had a nice sleep, because now, climbing into her car, the screen at the front tells 6:30 am.

The second I climbed in the passenger seat, I realized I didn't have anything with me. As Natasha starts the car, I groan and throw my head back on the seat.

I spoke quietly, "Shit... I forgot my stuff."

About to climb out before Natasha could drive off, the car door locked. Furrowing my eyebrows, I shoot my head towards Natasha to see her finger above the passenger door lock button, allowing me not to leave.

She started driving, "Don't worry, I'll pay. Next time, you can."

There's going to be a next time.

The entire way to... well, only Natasha knows where, and we're yet to arrive to this mysterious place, I stared out of the window. Though, I reckon it's a bar or pub since I suggested a drink, actually, Natasha did, I was just being dramatic. Nevertheless, I won't turn down few drinks. But drinks with Natasha? My ex? Don't sit right.

Now and then we'd have a quick chat about the wedding yet to come almost. We still have a few stuff to finish, meaning I'll have to come up with another excuse to Luke, telling him I'm bunking at Margot or Nancy for the second night.

Finally lifting my head up, away from the window, I look down to the emerald necklace still hanging around my neck. Who gave this to me. I twist the small ore between my fingers, a bit mesmerized by the beautiful green highlight of the emerald. It's so clean and spotless, I can see Natasha is the reflection which made me turn to her.

I truly thought she was the one who sent me this, and I don't know why I feel like my heart fell down, because she wasn't the one.
