~Y/N's Pov~
Walking down the busy streets of New York with Andrew, being a bit quiet than usual, which didn't go unnoticed by him. He'd glance over at me with a curious frown. In return I'd innocently smile back, smile quickly fades away as I look down to the path beneath us.
Natasha's words are still in the back of my head, every now and then making it's presence known. I'd take in shaky breaths, quiet groans and sighs whenever flashbacks came to mind.
That night went pass slowly, for I couldn't sleep. I stayed awake, absolutely consumed by her words. 'Don't fuck with my feelings just because you're unsure of yours.' Perhaps with that Natasha means she feels like the victim whenever we fight. Maybe it means that I didn't know how to react in that moment and I just tried making Natasha feel worse. It can mean a lot of things. It could mean that maybe, just maybe, she isn't over me yet. Am I even over her?Andrew nudges my shoulder. "Earth to agent Y/N." I snap out of my thoughts. "We're almost there. I'm sure John doesn't want you to enter his building if you don't have your game face on." He joked.
"Yeah, you're right. Can't wait to see my favorite colleagues." I tease, rolling my eyes.
There was silence as we crossed the street, coffee in our hand. Yet, I could feel his eyes burning through my soul.
"Alright, what's going on?"
I take a deep breath in. "...Oh ya' know, nothing..."
"Don't lie, Y/N. You know I can tell whenever something's bothering you."
I forcefully bite down onto my back teeth.
"Oh, I see" He grinned, looking at the back of my neck. "It wasn't good."
"What?" I frown.
"Oh come on!" He laughed. "You had a fun night yesterday."
"...what?"
Andrew grins, "There's a hickey on your neck."
In an instant, my eyes widen. I tried twisting my head to a point where I can see it, but I saw nothing. It was hiding at the back where I couldn't see.
Warmth flushed over my face, and I got redder every second. Andrew chuckled seeing me flustered. My mind wondered a thousand miles, looking down to hide my blush. He nudged me again, poking me in my sides playfully, causing annoyed groans to escape my mouth."Tell me, who was it" He teased, smirking. "I need to know."
Quietly, I look up to him with those regretful eyes, furrowed eyebrows. It took a second for him to figure it out, but his jaw dropped as it clicked. He's on point today, reading between the lines carefully to get all the details right.
He whispered, "Holy fucking shit. Don't tell me it's her... Natasha?..."
"It was a mistake... We were drunk! At least, I was super tipsy."
"Holy shit!" He laughed, finding it very amusing and funny.
He opens the door for me as we enter the building, trying to hold in his laughter- trying not to grab attention from anyone else. Though, a lot of heads turned our way as Andrew, very obviously, covered his laugh by his hand as his cheeks puffed up.
He followed behind me towards my office, every now and then releasing a small chuckle. Annoyed, I fell onto my chair and slouched down. Finally in silence, Andrew stood in front of my desk with a smile and crosses his arms.
