Last Saturday
That soft moonlight, a gentle caress,
Kept me awake, my heart in distress.
An unexpected knock at the door,
Shivers ran down my spine, and more.
"My love, are you at home?"
Your voice, a balm, my soul did roam.
I rushed to open the door,
And there you stood, my heart's sweet core.
That unending joy lit up my face,
Your smile, a sunbeam's warm embrace.
I was sad and angry, but your touch,
Healed my wounds, with love so much.
"I love to be with you," I smiled,
My lips on yours, a love defiled.
Soft moonlight kissed our faces bright,
As we held each other, in the night.
I wanted this moment to never end,
Your embrace, a promise to transcend.
Nothing could create a distance between,
Our love, so pure, a sacred scene.
I have loved you dearly, and always will,
My love for you, my heart's sweet thrill.
