That red petal
reminded her about love.
but the colour also reminds her
"Go back; it's dangerous."
The heart says to move forward.
The brain says to step back.
Still, she moves forward.
Still, she picks it up.
Still, she chooses to be loved again.
or maybe to get dumped again?
