Queen of Hearts

Envy was sitting in her room, playing with her many toys that the citizens of Wonderland had given or were forced to give to her on the morning of her birth. She was able to sit up by herself now and play with them. She cooed softly, pushing her tiny hand at the pink colored teddy bear in front of her face, smiling behind the rose colored pacifier in her mouth. Her door opened after a moment, revealing her nanny, coming in to dress her and take her out to the gardens for a croquet game.

Once the baby was dressed, the Nanny put her in her carriage and took her out to the gardens where her parents were waiting. "ah, there's my sweet little rosebud" The Queen said to her in a cotton soft tone, something very few people really got to hear directed at them. Envy cooed happily, liking the nickname. The game continued peacefully with the usual of making sure the Queen never lost to keep her happy and making sure to cheer. Envy started to get fussy from all the noise, not liking how loud the cheering was as she was unprepared for it.

"Take her out for a stroll around the pathway" The queen instructed the nanny once she sat down. The nanny obeyed and started to move Envy's carriage away from the game and onto the pathway of the garden. Envy started to calm down after she was away from all the noise. She looked around at the beautiful garden, seeing so many of the familiar colors of her room but she spotted another color that stood out, blue, a few blue roses that had been accidentally planted from seeds among the roses. She pointed at it, looking up at the Nanny who noticed it too, "oh, sweetheart, that's the color blue, your mother isn't a fan of a lot of colors other than red and black most of the time so she'll be quite angry to see this" She explained and didn't worry about her understanding most of what she said. Envy however did understand one word.

The croquet game continued on as usual with Envy becoming more and more accustomed to the noise since she was somewhat familiar with her mother's own voice so it didn't take long for her to get used to it. The Queen of Hearts was soon up next again for her turn and started to pick out a flamingo, when she pulled out a blue one, the next thing that was heard made her freeze.

"Boo!"

All eyes turned to Envy who was sitting in her carriage, staring at the blue flamingo in her mother's hand, she recognized it from those blue roses in the garden. It was obvious the child was saying, or attempting to say blue but instead of being happy that her child spoke, the queen grew very angry and looked at the Nanny who could only smile in pure terror. "Good job" The king patted Envy's head to show her that saying her first word was a good thing even though his wife wasn't exactly happy with what that first word was. It was safe to say that Envy had a new nanny before the sun went down that day.

Cruella

Phones were ringing off the hook at House of De Vil, either from companies asking to put Cruella's new line on stock or from angry animal right's activists, upset over Cruella still using real fur in all her clothing. Cruella didn't exactly care, she was one of the top fashion CEO's in London and was used to the calls. "A rabbit fur dress, it'd be one of the softest and warmest dresses known to mankind and would look stunning, get it done!" She pitched to her employees as she walked through the top floor. She walked to her office and sat down with a sigh, despite all she's built, the fur industry was a tough one. A gurgle coming from her right caught her attention, there sat Xavier in a playpen, gumming on some plastic rings in his hands, smiling at Cruella. For some reason, the woman didn't terrify the little baby as she did with practically everyone else who knew her.
