Queen of Hearts
It was the dead of Night in wonderland, everyone who went to sleep at this time was knocked out cold and were enjoying their sleep. Especially, the people of the palace, night time was one of the only times where they almost never had to worry about dying at the hands of their temperamental queen.
One soul, however, wasn't asleep nor have they slept the entire time, the figure prowled through the hedge maze, carefully evading any patrolling cards who would definitely tell her mother that she was out. The figure was Envy, Princess of Hearts who was returning from someone she wasn't supposed to be seeing.
Envy quickly ducked and ran along lawn to her window tower where she climbed a rope she had made out of her clothing up to her room. She grunted as she tried to stay as quiet as possible.
"Evening, Daughter" Envy froze at the voice, she looked up and saw her father standing there on her balcony. Her father was much different than her mother, nicer and calmer but took pleasure in enforcing her mother's orders.
"Hi, Father" Envy gulped.
"I don't believe you're supposed to be out here" The King of Hearts stated.
"I'm not but I-I was just trying to go have a little fun, I sometimes get bored at the castle, there isn't a lot of others like me and-"Did you go see that boy again?" The King asked, cutting her off.
"y-yes......." Envy blushed as she had gone out to see Edmond when she wasn't allowed too.
"Your mother won't be happy about this" The King stated.
"Y-you won't tell her will you?" Envy asked putting on puppy dog eyes.
"I believe she already knows, my dear" The King smiled. "I'm grounded, aren't I?" Envy asked.
A larger female figure showed up behind the king, glaring down at Envy. "Yes. You are."
Cruella
Cruella hummed to herself as she was looking over some fashion reviews late at night as it often helped her to sleep when she'd look out old reviews she has made to positively terrible fashion lines.
The black and white haired woman nearly leapt out of her seat when two pairs of rough tiny paws ran over her feet. She quickly grabbed a flashlight and looked under the desk while picking her feet up. She didn't see much until a pair of black beady eyes stared at her from a corner. She let out an exasperated sigh. "Ugh, Peanut" she mumbled recognizing the rat, annoyed that her son didn't latch her cage. She got some gloves on and gingerly picked up the rat without hurting it, holding it out in front of her as she made her way to Xavier's room.
"I don't have much against you personally, it's just that I've always believed Rats are simply disgusting and filthy" Cruella told the rat who stared at her, nose wiggling. When she got to Xavier's room, she gently but quickly tossed the rat into her cage and latched the door.
"Xavier, wake up, you didn't lock her cage, honestly, how many times do I really need to tell you before you understand that pets belong in-" Cruella tried to wake the boy up but when she moved the covers, there were just some pillows and a few umbrellas with a blown up balloon. "That boy is going to die......." Cruella growled knowing he snuck out.
About an hour or two later, Xavier returned home, coming in through the front door with his key, checking around carefully, dressed in his fur coat and one of his best outfits. He came inside and shut the door, trying to create as little noise as possible.
