Queen of Hearts

"Alright, Envy, recite the alphabet please" The Princess of Hearts was with her teacher that morning, learning the usual things.
Envy stood up and smoothed out her dress before taking in a deep breathe. "A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,ELEMENOPEEEE,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X, Y and Z" She recited as she was about five years old now.

"oh, no, not entirely right, remember? L, M, N, O and P" The teacher corrected timidly as she was somewhat afraid to say that Envy was wrong.

"oh, ok, "A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X, Y and Z" Envy recited again making the teacher sigh in relief. "very good, now sit at your desk and color for the remainder of class" She said. Envy nodded and went to her desk to color. Envy was a bright girl, she was honestly a lot like her mother, meaning she knew her status and used it when she wanted but shared her father's more respectful submissive behavior at the same time.

~~~~~hours later~~~~~

"Ah, there's my little rosebud, how was school?" The Queen of Hearts asked sipping some tea on her balcony as her daughter came in. "good, Mommy, I learned the correct way to say the alphabet and got to color and learned some math" Envy said.

The queen paused, "The what way?" she asked with a dangerous tone.

Envy realized her mistake and corrected herself, "I mean, your way of how to say the alphabet, Mommy" she said politely. "Good girl" The queen of hearts patted her head.

"now, go change your clothes and I will be in to help you with your homework" She instructed.

"That's ok, I did some of it in class and only got a little bit left to go" Envy said starting to leave as the queen almost spit out her tea.

"Y-you don't need help?" She asked.

"Nope, i'm ok" Envy smiled before leaving as the queen stood there, dumbfounded, Envy's never refused help with homework before.

Cruella

"Xavier!" Xavier heard his mother calling him as he had just finished getting dressed. "Yes, mother?" He called back. "where is your outfit? we're leaving soon!" Cruella called. "I'm already wearing it!" Xavier said coming down the stairs. Cruella stared at him for a moment as he was dressed in his outfit without a flaw showing.
"you......dressed yourself?" She asked. Xavier nodded, "I wanted to try it myself after watching you dress me so many times" he stated walking over to the couch to put on his shoes. Cruella watched him silently, blinking as she thought that maybe that was normal for five years olds.

Cruella and her son had gone to a dinner party that night. Xavier sat with a few other children while his mother conversed with the adults. "Darling, wherever did you get that outfit for Xavier? it's absolutely darling" one of Cruella's friends asked. "well, I designed it myself and made it made right at my company" Cruella said. The friend let out a laugh, "oh, Darling, surely you didn't make that, it's not made of animals, you probably bought it at a thrift shop and spruced it up" the friend said, meaning it as a joke. Xavier however didn't see it as a joke and was quick to defend his mother. He got up and straightened out his shirt before walking over to the lady.

"My mother had this hand sewn with the freshest silk from silkworms, tailored exactly to my fittings, shoes were flown in straight from france and my coat as a real mink fur lining on the inside and real velvet outlining, my mother made this and it's realer than your faux fur coat" He stated. The adults stared in shock with their mouths hanging open.

"H-how dare you! my coat is completely real!" The friend stated. Cruella had happy tears in her eyes as she couldn't believe her son had this much knowledge.
