"Good morning my little cherub." Harry spoke from the door as I left it open, moving to pick up my suitcases. "I'll get those, you just get the stuff you'll need to have in your hands." He said, taking the suitcases from me and disappearing out the door. I moved to grab my phone and my wallet, knowing that those are the two most important things. I didn't have any tickets as Richard had that all set up and ready for when we got to the airport. With it being his plane, tickets weren't needed as long as they knew we were coming.

I had texted Mel last night to ask if she would come home for the next few days, her groggy figure now slouched on the sofa as she watched me.

"Yes?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows at her disapproving stare.

"You didn't have to wake me for this. I could have stayed in bed with Laurel." She complained, resting her head against the back of the sofa, her eyes drooping slowly as sleep nearly overwhelmed her.

"Well once Harry comes back up you can go back to bed with Laurel. I doubt she would have ran away in the mere twenty minutes that you've been gone." I rolled my eyes at her, turning when I heard Harry shuffling towards the door. His face made an appearance as he waited patiently.

"See? That wasn't that long was it? Now I'll see you when I get back. I'm not hugging you because I know what you and Laurel were doing last night. I love you though." I teased.

"Yeah, yeah. You're just jealous that Emily Fox doesn't give you what you desire. And I love you too. Call me when you get there, unless you're otherwise engaged with Emily Fox." She said, standing from the sofa and disappearing into her room. I shook my head as a smile took over my face at her teasing. Bitch.

"Right then Harry. Let's go on an adventure of a life time." I said, moving out to him in the hall and closing the door behind me, locking it. I turned to walk with him down to the car.

Not even ten minutes later we were arriving outside of Emily's house. The presence of her parents made me feel protective. Like I had a duty to go out and make my presence known.

"I've got this Harry. You sit there and look pretty." I said to him, getting out of the car and making my way up to her house, her gate already opened. A few men in dark suits stood littered around, ready to follow Emily wherever she went.

Max caught my attention, he was her personal bodyguard, one of which I had become more accustomed with as he was usually following behind or lingering somewhere close to Emily. Max was a beefy guy, his upper body holding all of his power with his broad shoulders and his defined face. His buzz cut hair gave him an edge, one that I know most people would love to avoid. His stubbly beard made him look like he was fit to do anything, like camp out in the wild on a mission. His entire persona screamed ex-military. He had only ever looked me over a few times, or offered me a nod on the one occasion. It had never gone further than that, I had to praise him for his dedication of doing his job and only his job. He was almost too professional, but whilst protecting someone else's life, I suppose there is no better way to be.

"Mr and Mrs Fox. It's so good to see you again." I spoke up, interrupting the squabble that was currently taking place and offering my hand to Mrs Fox and then Mr Fox.

"Here you are. We were hoping you were going with her. We can't trust her to go anywhere by herself." Mr Fox spoke up, voicing his thoughts.

"I can assure you that I will be with her, but she still has her own freedom. Wherever she wants to go she can do, she's a grown woman, who am I to stop her from doing that?" I said, looking over at Emily as her gaze was fixed on her father. I think the aspect of the whole situation that annoyed me the most was how he said we, as if it was a shared opinion, with his wife. From the way things were and how she acts compared to him, I could see that what he was saying was not true at all. She was nothing like him.

"Well just make sure she doesn't get hooked onto someone else. You'll never get her back." He said, turning around and going into the house, not even offering a goodbye.

"I'm sorry about that sweetie. You go and enjoy yourself, you only have yourself to answer to. Call me whenever you want okay darling? We love you." Her mum said, pulling her daughter in for a hug before offering me her hand again and wandering off to find her husband. The overuse of the word we almost made me chuckle. But this was not my family to feel ironic about, so I kept it deeper down than anything else. Well, deeper than most things.

"Come on then Fox." I said, gently nudging her away from the house as my hands picked up her two suitcases. Harry was stood at the car, pulling the door open for Emily. He seemed to notice that she wasn't in the mood for chit chat as he left her in her thoughts, gently shutting the door behind her.

I pushed her suitcases in the boot, shutting it and finding my way around the car to occupy my seat next to Emily. Harry offered me a nod in the mirror before he put up the partition in the back, then gently pulled away from the house. I did think for a while why he hadn't used the partition the other day, but I didn't dwell on it. There were bigger matters at hand.

"Emily." I spoke up, finally allowing my eyes to take her in. This was the softest I had ever seen her, her clothes, her expression. She had opted for a matching set of green jogging bottoms and a hoodie, her hair in a messy bun.

"What?" She snapped, folding her arms. Her gaze was focused intensely out of the window. As if she was trying too hard to keep her eyes away from mine.

"You only have you to answer to. Just like your Mum said. If you don't want to, you don't have to go to the premiere, just go and enjoy Spain. I'm not going to stop you." I said, gently resting my hand on her thigh.

"Please don't Kiana." She breathed out, pushing my hand further down her leg as she now let it rest on her knee, before pulling her hand away from mine. "I want to go to the premiere." She finalised, her gaze turning up to take me in. I too had gone for a more relaxed look, but I looked more as if I was going to the gym. I wore a black hoodie with dri-fit leggings, a tank top hidden under my hoodie.

Her eyes stopped on my neck, her hand reaching out, but mine prevented her from getting any closer. "Let me?" She asked, but her voice was gentle, the most gentle I had ever heard it. I let out a heavy breath as her hand moved closer, my hand still attached to her arm as my grip got tighter as she got closer. I couldn't stop the heavy breaths escaping me as her hand gently caressed my neck, dropping my gaze down at the intensity of it all. "I won't hurt you Kiana. Not again." She said, her voice wobbling. "Will you ever tell me?" She asked, placing her spare hand under my chin and lifting my head.

"Probably not." I declined, unwilling to share that part of my life.

"Okay." She said, finally taking her hand away, but mine still remained attached to her arm. She stopped her movements as my hand gripped her harder. "Kiana?" She asked, looking between me and my hand. I gently tugged her towards me, my hands circling her small body as I pulled her against me, and I was the one now burying my head in her neck. "Okay." She said, gently running her fingers up and down the back of my neck. "Okay." She whispered out again, maybe trying to comfort herself this time.
