The reason why I always hesitated in starting Genshin is simple; I'm too late. I haven't even told anyone yet that I started, because who the fuck starts this game in 2023? I assume the entire Earth began like two years prior, and here I am being as old-fashioned as someone's grandma.

I'm AR17, and I'm already too insecure, because I recently accidentally unlocked that damn Co-Op feature, and now everyone can see my fucking AR. Not to mention, I haven't told anyone because, even if they tried to mask it, they're gonna shame me on the inside. And I hate it when I'm being belittled.

I try to enjoy the scenery in the game, before that motherfucking request to join popped up at the top of my screen. A sudden surge of anger coursed through me, but I managed to turn it down. I sigh in annoyance, before I let them in.

Not much after, a Kazuha was beside me. The first thing I sensed was jealousy. 'Damn... I'm out here with a level 50 Kaeya and here they are with a level 80 Kazuha...' I shook those thoughts away with a shake of my head. Before I could greet whoever wanted to join my world when they're AR44, they spoke first.

For a moment I'm confused, but then I lose my composure at that Klee sticker they sent. So I let them farm, and I don't feel bothered at all. To be honest, I couldn't exactly refuse even without the Klee sticker, because I'm a people-pleaser, and I can't really say no. My mouth is programmed on speaking before thinking, so I can't help it.

After some time, we reach a Cryo monument, and for some reason my characters are stuck at Heizou and Lisa. I curse myself as I try to find out why I can't see Kaeya in that list. Eventually my anger reaches its peak when I see a red exclamation mark at the chat, where I angrily click, only to see that my newest friend, also known as Kio, has to go because it's getting late.

I send a smile, and they leave.
