Namjoon woke up to the sound of chirping birds, something he hasn't heard in a long time. Jin was still in his shirt, his hands and face on Namjoon's chest. Namjoon chuckled at Jin's clinginess and started stroking his hair.
Jin stirred a bit from under the fabric, then went straight back to sleep. Namjoon glanced over at the alarm clock and was surprised to see that he managed to sleep in until 9:56 as he'd been waking up at 5:00 AM every morning for the past month. Seokjin, however, seemed like he had no intentions of waking up.
Namjoon reached for his phone, trying to move as little as possible since Jin was using him as a human pillow. After a bit of struggling, he managed to unplug it and text Jungkook.
Jungkook
N: do you mind if you can take jin somewhere today?
Jungkook: can tae come?
N: yeah
Jungkook: then yes. but didnt you want to do it?
N: yeah, but i need to get a job again
Jungkook: understandable
Jungkook: i can take jin to see the city
N: thanks
Jungkook: np. is jin up yet?
N: no hes still asleep
Jungkook: ok, breakfast is ready for whenever you guys come out
N: thanks koo

Namjoon put his phone down and coincidentally, Jin woke up.
"Good morning," he whispered in a bit of a raspy voice, peeking out from Namjoon's shirt.
"Good morning, baby," Namjoon said softly, kissing his forehead. "Are you excited for today?"
Jin nodded with a small smile, finally coming out of Namjoon's shirt. The warmth immediately left Namjoon's stomach and chest when Jin did.
"Good. Jungkook and Taehyung are gonna show you around, is that okay?"
Jin hid his disappointment by putting his face back in Namjoon's chest. "Okay," he mumbled. He really just wanted to be with Namjoon, but then he felt guilty for being selfish. Namjoon has things he needs to do too, and he can't always baby Jin.
As if he read Jin's mind, Namjoon said "I want to be with you too, baby, but I need to make money. It's not fair if Jungkook has to pay for us along with himself."
Jin nodded in understanding. Namjoon scooped him up and cradled him in his arms, bringing him to the kitchen for breakfast.
Now that they could be together whenever they wanted, Jin had gotten a lot clingier, but it's not as if Namjoon minded. Jin latched his arms around Namjoon's neck, snuggling into his chest. Namjoon grabbed the plates of pancakes that Jungkook had prepared for them and went to sit at the table.
Surprisingly, Jin let Namjoon place him on a chair without being on his lap for once. He smiled in thanks as Namjoon passed him a plate, then dug in.
They ate in a comfortable silence, just appreciating the other's presence. Jin was excited for the day ahead while Namjoon dreaded having to go find another job. He doubted that he would get one so well-paying like when he was a butler, but money is money.
